If they're going to 're-open' this attaction, it'll be from scratch. I seem to remember reading somewhere they auctioned off the props from both experiences within the last year. On one hand it means it would probably be a completely new experience...but it could end up better or worse.
Can always hope it gets revived at some level... even if it's just a motion control ride without the full experience, it would be kinda fun to go around again.
The dude who's supposed to be herding along the customers through the ride sounds totally unmotivated. Then again, I'm sure after doing this thing like 12 times a day it gets to be really boring.
If I ever had the chance to go I would have brought some herb and skunked my ride through the 23rd century, then nothing but good times would ensue.
LOL That would be crazy! You're walking down the strip to the Bellagio with your girlfriend(or boyfriend) to go to The Bank club and suddenly, an interstellar dog-fight between starfleet and Klingon ships comes out of nowhere.
@chakotay24 It's never going to reopen. It's been about 2 years since they tried, and absolutely no effort has been made. There's really nowhere to put it. The Hilton was a good spot, but they wanted to charge almost $40 bucks for people to go there. When I started working there, it was $10 to get in. Then I watched it climb to $15, $25, $39.99 Ridiculous.
@JediBillman well the first time I went there it cost $30 which was before the Borg Invasion opened. I think they have to much to gain not to reopen it. There is always a chance they might reopen it in a different city although I would hate to see it leave Vegas.
@chakotay24 I think it cost them about $75 million just to build the original Klingon Encounter. And the attendence never made up for it. I remember the General Manager said she'd need ot make $20 off every person coming in just for the place ot break even. For an example, the Spider-Man musical needs to sell out EVERY show from now until 2016 just to break even. It's similar with a stand alone attraction like this. It needs to be part of something like Disneyland to do well.

Anyone know if Quark's Bar will also be at the new location? I hope so... that place was awesome.

Well, they'd have to change some of the end footage - the ride won't be at the Hilton any more.
