If you go back to earlier in the clip, he refers to the soldiers' height and weight as being 6' and 300 lbs...with equipment. Later when he mentions a soldier falling off 'carrying' 300 lbs, he OBVIOUSLY misspoke. Nobody thinks they CARRY 300 pounds of gear.
So far I've only heard about 2 secs of real audio. Not only do foot soldiers want to keep a low profile, they want to be QUIET. Carrying around a leaf blower isn't going to help. (If you had wounded, the risk would become acceptable.)

haha, ya, and they never talked to us before it aired. So all their comments were based on their own assumptions.
Plus, the guy couldn't seem to remember whether a soldier carries 100 or 300 or 500 or... lbs of equipment?
