scariest RE for me was 0 to resident evil 4 because RE4 did have elements of survival horror and  action and adventure horror plus it doesn't have the stiff controls of the older ones and RE5 while not scary its still a great game

AAAAAAAAAAAAH! that so freaky. i hate that big gothic manison. soo creepy. my sister and i both were playing this game and when we finally put in the sheet music, we jumped because the Alexia's bed slammed down! Code Veronica is really one of the best resident evil games. it scares you physically and emotionally.

@xPunkx3 I played re since I was four and at 7 is when I actually knew what the hell was going on and that the game wasn't all about running from zombies. The game never scared me just the thought of losing did now I'm a re master and the games seem a bit too predictable for me including 4 &5. No matter wht the music and game is always great.

Loved the cgi scenes but hated the damm lack of bullets.

I had this game in where i got to antartica with chris and i had no medicine but plenty of ammo.

I gave up cause i kept dying but many months later i returned and advanced with caution killing the first stupid tentacle monster in my way and i even used grenade launcher to kill hunters because i had more ammo than i needed,i found medicine and i was literally jumping with joy that i could beat the game.

I won with barely enough medicine.

i agree. code veronica had more storylines that were relevant and continued from the other games. such as claire from re2 saying she had to find chris, then goes to find chris in cv. its like it continues, but resident evil 4 has nothing to do with the other games. its a whole new virus and there is hardly any storylines in it if i remember. the game was so crap ive only seen my brother play it once, but i dont remember any major storylines continuing from the other games in that one
