When it comes to these "Kiss Debates" and "Best Guitarist" contests, I don't know if I like commenting on them. But, one thing that can't be argued away is that Ace Frehley's 1978 solo album was probably the best album ever produced by Kiss or any of it's members!! Ace did just fine without Gene and Paul. And, unlike Gene, I don't think Ace has this burning desire to show the world that he's any good. And I don't think he badmouths anybody unless they badmouth him first? Key word, INTEGRITY

I love how in the backround recording of this download whoever did it included the actual backround noises of what sounds like beer bottles being thrown out between 1:03 and 1:08..then later it sound like a match striking and lighting a cigarette...if u listen u will hear somthing..I think its cool...it reminds me of when I used to record my KISS lp's to my cassette recorder when I was a kid so I could play KISS on my bike when I rode around town since they didnt play them onn the radio! good xs

Yeah...this was the b side 4 "I was made"...this was also the side we liked to play alot more...also on the copy that I had as a kid...at the end of the song there was another final chord played that was sort of like a finale end but only one short chord that was only held for half a second. I used to wonder why that wasnt on the LP version or other versions of other 45's that I heard out there...someone please tell me if they are familiar with that possibilly very rare 45 print?

Amen. I don't dig drugs, but throwing Ace out of Kiss was a bad business decision.

One---the worst mistake they made in the 70s was going disco, and Ace evened their music out.

Two---Kiss would've sold more in ticket sales after they recovered from the three dorky albums. Ace had drawing power as one of the most influencial guitar players in hard rock, unlike Bruce Kulik who's good but not a legend.

I personally am partial to the songs that Ace sings. I love parasite, 2,000 man, hard times, save your love and flaming youth( all of his solo LP especially rip it out) and with gene singing charisma and god of thunder. god of thunder has the coolest sound effects of all the kiss songs. the intro sounds really eerie and then eerie again right before Ace's masterfully done badass solo. and the song's ending crackle.
