cocking? i used a sealant called Mastik, if you mean something similar. its like a layer of gungey stuff that oozes out between any gaps as you screw it together. completely air tight xD
yeah its great stuff and satisfying when it turns out good, ive recently built a dual 8" chambered folded horn, and the results are amazing, and it sounds great alongside my previously built dual 8" L ported :)
@rebel119wrestler Nope, not mad, just get irritated by the amount of people who try so hard to think their better than everyone else.News flash, you will die alone! All assholes die alone! So go kill some puppies and have a good time, and you better go get your flu shot, its that season again:D
@rebel119wrestler Yeah, you learned how to be a good little factory worker,Congratulations! You thinking that it makes a difference shows how fucking stupid you are! Everybody knows that a govt. funded school is a joke!Except you.Hahahaha.Now go and make the govt.as much money as you can,and be a good little slave! Now excuse me while I go cash some checks I have laying around.Hahahaha
How do you make a speaker box like that for a 12 " i dont now how much wats or wat brand am fixxing to buy it and i need the measurements can you give them to me please
hey man i realy need some help i kno u can help me,cause im planning to build a box..can u help me with the dimensions i have to aply..hmm i have 1 12'' 2000 watt sub..and im planning to put it in a 2.5 cu ft. box..can u help me on how many inches of the width and the height and other dimensions..hope u reply man preciate it..
hey nice box.i need a advice am tring to make a ported box i have 2 12kicker cvr.i dont know if u seen the sealed box for silverado ext cab,if u have u can see i dont have too much space to make it happen so am makin the box 12 inchs height, like 24 width and 10 depth and am tring to do the vents circle shape how big should i cut the vents?i listen most of the time hip hop and rap music.thanks.
for two 12"s you need the height at LEAST 13.5" and like 30 - 35" wide or the subs wont fit
trust me i learnt the hard way
im not so good with circle vents buttt i can work out the internal port area youd need roughly, and you should be able to work out how deep to make each port then
well its a 12" kenwood sub with a 1200watt peak...i realli dont care what size the enclosure is as am gona hav it in the house, but i want sumthin tht realli knocks
If this is being built for a sub with under about 8-9mm xmax then i'd suggest reducing the size evenly all over. The 7kv.2 this was designed for moved similar air to a reasonable 8", which is why the box is quite large for a 6".
i just bought a Eu-700 so this box would be perfect, besides the fact there really aren't alot of other videos showing off there custom boxes... tho i think i might size it down to around .5-.6cu ft.
Yes but the eu-700 is long gone, it had numerous mechanical faliures, id never buy from elemental designs again.. dont push it too hard! Ive now got two dvc 8"s in a custom enclosure off a technics su-v550 =]

@semiLivedj I'm pretty sure the word your are looking for is "caulking". Cocking is what you do with a gun to load the round into the chamber...
criticallistenphile 1 month ago
cocking is caulking spelled and pronounced incorrectly :-)

2.5cuft.... hmm i would have said a bit more for 2000W 12". but it will still sound crazy. allow me your email ill post u an idea see what u think
barevids 3 years ago
why does wattage matter on the box size. i thought it was more for volume of air being moved... such as excursion which effects that.
mm34rider 2 years ago
that's the perfect size actually! MAYBE 3 cu ft would be better...

i need help building a ported lightning audio sub 12" 400w only one sub
codydgrove 3 years ago
how do i make a speaker box like that for an audiobahn 300w 8 inches ???????????
escalante713 3 years ago
Width: 20"
Height: 10"
Depth: 15"
Port width: 1.5"
Port length at back: 8"
Using 0.75" thick MDF
that'll give you 35hz tuning which for an 8" will deafen you with most music youre gonna listen to
If you wanna go realy low and hit 30hz or under, add 2" to the width and make the rear port length 14"
barevids 3 years ago
thats all in inches or wat
escalante713 3 years ago
yeah inches
barevids 3 years ago
i wana make a box for my 12" sub but i dont kno what size i sholud make it, could you plz give me sum advice on dimensions if possible, thanxz
t42m4n 3 years ago
hey dude, if you give me the mounting depth, xmax and RMS of the 12" sub i can do you some dimentions for an L ported or sealed
barevids 3 years ago
well its a 12" kenwood sub with a 1200watt peak...i realli dont care what size the enclosure is as am gona hav it in the house, but i want sumthin tht realli knocks
t42m4n 3 years ago
kk just quickly what type of music do u listen to most or what kinda bass you want
low and rumbly or punchy and responsive
barevids 3 years ago
i mostly listen to rap-hip hop- or rnb
i was lookin 4 sum hard hitin low bass
t42m4n 3 years ago
ok man make the width 25" and the port length 10" instead
that will give you some low ass tones
barevids 3 years ago
what wud the generated image look like btw ?
t42m4n 3 years ago
actually make one to this
Width: 24"
Height: 14"
Depth: 15"
Port Width: 1.8"
Rear port length: 9"
That'll give you a volume of 1.8cuft and a tuning of about 33hz +/-1hz depending how you build it
Will be realy loud for a 12"
If u like i can send you a generated image and the exact sizes of wood to cut out for each side etc to get it bang on perfect
barevids 3 years ago
yh can i have the generated image plz along with the exact sizes of the wood
t42m4n 3 years ago
i'm glad you told us the max seeing as how it matters
BoSoxFanSims 3 years ago
dimensions for the box?!?! would be greatly appreciated if possible. thnx
gozma 3 years ago
Width - 20.75"
Height - 8.5"
Depth - 13"
Port width - 1.4"
Port length - 13"
Vol - 0.74cuft
Tuned freq - bang on 35hz
If this is being built for a sub with under about 8-9mm xmax then i'd suggest reducing the size evenly all over. The 7kv.2 this was designed for moved similar air to a reasonable 8", which is why the box is quite large for a 6".

That amp does about 300 watts rms or less..
calvinyuenblinke 3 years ago
bxi 606 is not much under 600 watts RMS. its quite well rated, its the class D brutus amps that are overrated.
NintendoTheCoolest 3 years ago
better off getting an amp that does 350rms, no such thing as a MINIMUM rms rating lol.
but that bxi 606 does look nice
thanks for linking me to your video btw :P
