  • How can i create letters consistent of trapcode form particles?

  • Thats skill right there

  • I thought this was 3D

  • @Xzefreeman After effects is a 2.5D programme but still operates in the usual X,Y and Z axis. Difference is theres no true depth in the Z axis unlike a true 3D programme - like say 3Ds Max or Maya. However, trapcode gives the illusion of a decent 3D effect.

  • @doctorbubble Can I ask how you freeze particles on particular like you did on this video ? thanks :)

  • Holy shit, awesome

  • @PCBCerqueira Thanks. I'm not really sure why everybody likes this one. But hey who I I'm to judge at 34,000 views lol.

  • @doctorbubble 34.000 doesn't mean "like". The thumbs up do, but they're disabled. You should turn them on, see them race up

  • @PCBCerqueira I know that but I don't care for the thumbs up or thumbs down I rather somebody comment like you have :)

  • That was quite simple and yet very impressive =D ... a pitty I can´t put a thumb up for it =(

  • @uvitek1 Cheers :) I wouldn't worry about the thumbs up etc. In fact I appreciate the comment much more :) BTW I've made a sequel to this - when you have some time -check it out via my AE and Max folder in the playlist section.

  • where do i find the roving camera effect

  • @thefreakenBEAST The roving effect is made via putting a wiggle expression on the camera's 3 axis either effecting X,Y, or Z. This gives the camera random movement without keyframing every position. If your still not sure your welcome to send me a message :)

  • @doctorbubble yeah about the static particles, what exactly do u mean by static particles,

and btw i made a video kind of like this one today, its called Meteor Storm. tell me what you think

  • @thefreakenBEAST Particles are normally associated with movement - but the one I made in the above video is static, no movement. Instead the camera does all the movement.

  • @doctorbubble Hey man! thanks for the help/tips! ive got some videos that you may like on my channel that use particles. also i tend to animate the cameras xyz and put the wiggle expression on the Orientation

  • @thefreakenBEAST Your welcome my friend :) I've checked your lastest video with the water-like particles. Very nice indeed :) I do have a new after effects and max composition with particles called 'Chase UFO' check it sometime. I use the particles in smoke, starfield and explosive effects.

  • I love the particles. I wonder if you could make them look like an explosion? like, a rocket hits, and suddenly those particles all bounce up into a star like partern. Any ideas?

  • @paynexkillerAOTF Thanks and yes your idea is possible but it might be easier using Trapcode Form rather than Trapcode Particular. I'll have to experiment and get back to you :)

  • tutorial!!!!!!!

  • @skateboard19952006 Thanks but that ship has sailed :)

  • Rendertime? 2 Days?

  • @highdownhybrid No not 2 days, more an hour or so. Both plugins are more than efficient for this job, the only draw back in rendering time was the calculation of the cameras depth of field.

  • the music sucks...

  • @petersuky Well thanks for that intelligent comment! lol

  • @doctorbubble hehe... sarcastic!

  • Awesome! but this Dr. B watermark kills the video

  • MUST HAVE BEEN A BITCH TO RENDER. GOOD STUFF THO!

  • almost looks like 3D! :O

  • dude all i can say is this is the coolest adobe editing youve dont

  • @1xboxboy Cheers my friend I still can't believe its nearly got 5,000 views! but check out my 'out of chaos' video I made too.

  • @doctorbubble i made a new edit go check it out. its like the most random thing ive made

  • @doctorbubble you HAVE TO make a tutorial

  • Beautyfull!

  • @Basicfilms1 Cheers for the comment

  • Cool!

    Thumbs up!

    (G-Phi)

  • @gphiproductions Cheers my friend

  • lol. it on my channel. im tryin to get people to lend me video clips of modern warfare 2 so i can start usin the program

  • i made a simple one with, i think a disolve, and that took 10 minutes

  • @1xboxboy You should post it my friend.

  • nice dude. how long did it take to publish

  • @1xboxboy Cheers. Not long to be honest, took a few hours to make and about 20 minutes to render.

  • @doctorbubble wow. what were your rendering specs. and how much ram do u have

  • @1xboxboy Let me think, I always delete my rendering specs. I have a quad core (overclocked) to 3.70Ghz total = 14.80Ghz with 8Gb ram but I made sure none of my internet was open or any other program(s). 16bpc -minimum allocation per CPU 2Ghz. This is not too bad unlike 3Ds Max 2011 - one comp I've made called 'alien landscape' took 7hrs to render! - lucky my CPU is still alive LOL then again I have 5 fans in my pc case to get rid of the hot air

  • @doctorbubble wow. i got a laptop with 3 gigs ram lol. no wonder it rendered so quick

  • @1xboxboy yes that might have something to do with it LOL. The new version of AE CS5 can use more memory should be more helpful - but it depends what you are rendering - plugins like trapcode form and particular can sometimes take a age to render especially if motion blur is turned on - in this case it didn't take too long

  • @doctorbubble aah. do you think i could borrow your computer lol.

  • @1xboxboy LOL - I wish I could borrow Pixar's super computer myself . Have you made any comps yourself then?
