@MWizH - this is a great cutter! You can use it on those mats for cutting practice. We have also used this sword on palm tree leaves as well. It is well worth the wait!
@MWizH Yes this blade is a good cutter. I actually have one of these in my personal collection and regularly do tameshigiri with it. This is one of our more popular blades in this price range.
@ladyamerias Well thank you. It is one of my favourites in my personal collection. Obviously I handle a lot of blades because of business but I do love the saya, and blade of this particular sword.
I'm still interested in this katana but I'm still waiting for my other katana to arrive first. What sort of method do you use to ship your swords? Because I live in the UK there may be a problem if the product has to pass through British customs.
@DarkChaoto We typically ship via USPS and as of so far have not had any issues shipping to the UK. The only thing that affects shipping to UK is if it is handmade or not as handmade swords are considered to be an antiquity in the UK and are allowed in the country.
i have one question do you guys have any swords made using the Honsanmai technique? it's not realy a big deal but im just wondering if all the swords you sell are made using the Maru technique
@Troglodite89 yes we have several. The average swords that are priced between 100-say around 250 are usually maru type of forge style. We have several Muku kitae, and San Mai forged swords as well. Are you looking for a price on a specific one that I can help you out with?
@hisaru23 Ha ha!! Funny you should mention that? We did get a tri-pod. I know they are a bit shaky now and again but these were the first videos we did. We hope to get better and better!
Just checked out the sword on your website and the price is cheaper than I thought so I'm defenitly considering buying that sword I just hope you can ship to the uk but I can't buy it soon because I will need to save up.
The edo(I believe it's called{thing that wraps the tsuka}) is done wrong they are all weaved the same way on both sides. If in battle it would become unwraped quickly in stead of in seactions if it were done crorrectly. Just sayin
@DrummerLSE : You are somewhat correct. There are different ways of wrapping the tsuka-ito. Saying that, I have cut strenuously with this sword and never had a problem with the ito.
@InitialXG yes the Bushido Blood Dragon, and Bamboo Pearl are quite similar. The blades are identical. Forge method was the same. Mainly just decorative features are different and price is a little less for Blood Dragon. These swords are fantastic cutters and really maintain their edge. If you have any more questions please feel free to contact us anytime.
@SamuraiSupply thank you for your quick reply. just a question based on your answer. can you tell me why the blood dragon is slightly cheaper if they blades are identical? ive been real interested in the blood dragon but want to make sure i get a great quality sword with the money i spend.
Is this blade a good cutter? Like can you use it on those mats?
I'm going to buy one soon and I just wanna know what it can do while I wait :)

Is this sword similar to the bushido blood dragon katana?

@InitialXG it is cheaper because it only comes with basic maintenance kit, and the same(rayskin) is fake.
