Amazing...I thought my 3-legged ACD was the only one to climb tree's. Your's get a bit higher up and mine almost refuses to get caught on camera when he is in the tree. I say watch out cats, birds and raccoons.

That is amazing, specially because the way I know dogs can't climb trees due to the lack of retractable claws. If it wouldn't be true, my cat would've been breakfast for the neighbourhood dogs long time ago. I once witnessed a pair of young and enthusiastic Eskimo Huskies were right on his heels, and only his 'tiger jump' and lightning fast climbing on a tree saved his skin. The dogs circled around the tree for awhile, but then lost interest and left.

I for a longtime had a red female heeler and she would do the very samething. Run up trees chasing squirrels. Far above my head she'd climb, I always thought it was so amazing. She could also jump easily into the bed of a pick-up truck with the tailgate up and secure. They are truely amazing dogs!
