  • Didn't Dick Cheney coin that phrase when he said...."Ronald Reagan taught us that deficits don't matter"?

    I'm just saying...

  • LUVIT: You again? I do enjoy some of your fodder, but you just opened another door into your face. Did you even listen to the video? I specificially mentioned what you were talking about. Listen from 0:01 to 0:35. The comment about Reagan, not so sure about that but one must consider that Congress holds the purse strings. watch?v=1iWcI39GOyc Obama broke his spending promises. watch?v=D7lxL90IRew Ron Paul wanted to make $1 trillion in real cuts immediately.

  • @UTubekookdetector I like Ron Paul too, but we need like-minded individuals in Congress with him. The current Congress would block him form both sides.

  • LUVIT: Did you vote for RP in your caucus or primary? You're correct, we need a congressional overhaul too. If you like RP, then am I to assume you're not a central-planner because he wants to take away a lot of the pies the govt has its filthy hands in. RP could wield the veto threat, make the GOP oppose him and then organize candidates to primary them. They'd need 2/3 to override a veto.

  • @UTubekookdetector I am a registered Democrat. I like a lot of what he says because he makes a reasonable arguments for it. I also like what Obama says because he makes a case for his positions too. If the election came down to Ron Paul and Barack Obama I would have to make a tough choice. However, the game is fixed, Ron Paul will not get the nomination, and the Republicans are purposely giving the election away to Obama. The rest of the field are CLOWNS!

  • LUVIT: Leave your conspiracy theories at the door, thanks! If you had a choice between RP & Obama it would be a tough choice? You have to kidding? Just when I thought there was some hope for you. RP"s proposals will cut spending in the 1st year and they will not be cuts in baseline growth, they will be real cuts. Obama proposed a net cut in spending, no matter who controls Congress, we have not seen that. He lied. He criticized Bush on spending just to get votes.

  • @UTubekookdetector Problem is Ron Paul's cuts are a pipe dream. He has to convince neo-cons on both sides of the aisle. It'll NEVER HAPPEN!

The thing is you're an ideologue and I'm a realist. Just because I support Barack Obama doesn't mean I can't consider Ron Paul either. There is more than one way to any given destination. It just depends on which route you prefer.

  • @UTubekookdetector ...continued

As far as my so-called conspiracy theories....

    I don't know...you tell me.....

What Harvard grad you know who graduated with honors, has a multi-million dollar staff would be stupid enough to book a 65,000 seat venue for a party of 1400? C'mon you really don't think that was done by accident do you? LOL!

Rick Santorum's comment about Blah people was incidental? Really? He is a seasoned political veteran with a law degree from Penn State! Open your eyes!

  • note to ALLIERON: For some reason, your comment isn't here (although I did save a screenshot of it from my inbox). It wasn't germane anyways, point out which of my statements you're taking issue with. Hussein told McCain in Oct2008 that he wants a "net cut in spending." What was the budget deficit for FY2010? Good luck kiddo.
