I agree that in the heat of the moment....ill put my body 2nd to the shot. I wish i could only hit a bit harder..these pro's make it look easy.

whast does the judge mean when he says that the ball "skipped off the side wall?" Is he referring to cliff's return shot? If so, I'm confused b/c I was under the assumption that a return could take one bounce off the side wall and then on to the front wall... somebody explain this to me... tks

The ref is Mike Ray and he is referring to Cliff's last shot of the rally. He means that the ball hit the floor near the side wall before hitting the front wall. At that speed and low angle, the side wall can sometimes straighten out the ball out, so it comes out looking like a good shot. The players know that effect well, so Mike just mentioned the side wall.
