My first car was an '80 Spyder. White with red decals, red interior. 3.8/Auto. No power, but I loved that car. Drove it hard and never blew the engine. Mine had the side and read window louvers, but I think I eventually tossed them. Same with the front end ground effects. I was young, what can I say. And it was a $750 beater.
Hot car with a strong V8. Stock brakes always gave me trouble. Heard there was a way to install different A arms, spindle & bigger brakes. I had a 1980, 305 V8, 3spd auto with 2.46:1 gears in the diff. That car would bury the speedo in 2nd gear.
