I think it's appropriate b/c "I walk alone" is kind of the theme of a unicyclist. There are so few of them, that they are pretty much alone in their practice. I think the vid is very well edited to go with the song

One thing that helps me with steep down hill is if i can actually slide as i am pedaling. There is a certain point where a person can not pedal any faster and when gravity brings you to that point just sliding until you can regain control is probably the best option.
