yeah the 409 is a useless machine for buckraking. so is a tm200! ive never driven a tm310 but id say they would be far better than the 409. we had one and changed to a merlo panoramic 36.2. its a great climber on the pit. good video!
that makes sense, the trucks we use here would definitley get stuck because of their weight some of them fully loaded can weigh a total of 77,ooo tons. does anyone over there roll high moisture corn and pack that or no? by the way goof job on the vid.
one more thing, nor have i ever seen anyone use tractors and wagons to transport the silage from the field to the pit. even if it's 1 to 2 miles away from the field. every one uses bob tail trucks or tractor trailer rigs. as i said i guess it depends on efficiency and personal preference.
I'm From Northern Ireland Big trailers would just sink into the field that is the normal thing to do in the U.K, we use 3 tractors and trailers to cart 3 miles. And about the JCB 409 in the pit, i was inefficant and lacking power so in about 2 weeks our new TM310 will be ariving its a beast, will post a video of it undoubtedly so subscribe and you'll see it when i upload it. thx
i would think that little front loader doesn't pack that silage very good. i have never seen anyone out of the places i have pushed at use a buck rake. but from what i can tell its more efficient in a small pit or bunker.
oh yea i have something else to say, how much hp does it need to power it? are trailerd forager (a jfstoll one) was having problems and we might get one like it.
Most people run it around 150 hp, like we do, this allows us to lift 20ft swaths at around
6 km/h, i'm sure our mf6465 (130hp) could run it, it doesn't need much power at all, i have heard of it been run on a 220hp tractor so it can handle power also... btw it give very little bother but since i have never owned any other harvester other that a JF900 i cannot say how well it chops the grass ect.
Its a kevernland taarup 10x, they dont make them anymore and they are the best harvester there is, 2nd hand ones that are 6 years old are getting 13/14 thousand
we where gona get a new trailer next year mayby, we where gona get a kane or redrock, nut might look at the 12 ton johnstone they're made like 5 miles from my house..
nice video, please come and have a look at my channel
