  • I live in Ohio, had 2 jobs, lost both of them 4 months ago, didn't make enough according to the state to collect unemployment. There are 17 US states above 10% right now. And Colorado always used to be in the Top 10 states in real estate, that's going down. The entire upper midwest and Northeastern part of the US are getting hit hard right now with job loss.

  • Fuck money

    Fuck everything

  • -- WHOLY shit by reading the comments ,,, Things seem to be BAD ,,,

Detroit is like Serbian city after Hyperinflation of 1994 they had ...

  • 40 % The real Main st . numbers show they are already at 20%

  • i think the accual umimployment rate will hit 19 or 20% but we will never know the real rate because the power fucks menipulate the numbers can you amGINE IF THE AVERAGE JOE NEW THE TRUTH THE NEXRT DAY EVERONE AND THERE BROTHER WOULD RUSH OUT TO THE BANKS WITHDRAW ALL THERE DOE BUY ALL THE FOOD AND WATER THEY COULD JUST SO THEY WOULDNT HAVE TO WATCH THERE FAMILIES STARVE TO DEATH WITCH WOULD CAUSE WIDESPREAD FEAR AND COMPLETE CHAOS THATS ONLY PART OF IT WE ARE ALL SCREWED SO WE MUST ALL PREPARE

  • Guten Tag, you too.

  • Michigan Sucks! Sorry I just had to say that since I'm from Ohio. Good vid.

  • Unfortunately, Ohio will be the new Michigan (in terms of unemployment.)

  • looking for entrepreneurs to convert EVERY car on the road to green vehicles...need i say more?

GM, Chrysler, Ford could make tons of cash this way. but to catch this idea from the air, as I did, there would have to be an entrepreneur mindset withIN the company. omg

I wish you good luck in finding work, friend!

  • Demcad, my prediction for the number of unemployed if you count the 67,000 ALREADY LAYDOFF, I believe it will get up to 10% I believe we'll see another 100,000 Jobs lost, AFTER the 67,000 I've already counted.

  • Demcad, a new GM plant. It's just wishful thinking bud. They're not going to be able to do that when all thier current money dries up as well as thier bailout funds But is good think about. Good luck .

  • Your question does not make sense. It's a trick of the ruling class to concentrate all questions into a single number and then do all statistic tricks to raise or lower this number.

Unemployment in Germany means not having a day job (>20 hours a week). The US is counting even small jobs (5 hours a week). Only people who not had a job before - for example students, small business owners are not counted as unemployed.

Question: How many people don't have a job to make a living? I guess 33%

  • Yeah I live in ohio, and LOTS of people don't have jobs anymore, as well as waiting on unemployment. I'm blessed I still have one myself but it's part time, and I'm in college. From the looks of things, I may not be doing either real soon...

  • aint goin be no plant ya hear! its all hogwash

  • Nice video the american people are being robbed, chaos should be now, senators should be getting mad amounts of letters, people should be standing up, Im 25 married with 2 kids and i have to cut back all my bills, not to save money but to help cover my parents who were both laid off, my grandmother who worked and was laid off, we are bailing out each other while the big wigs bailout those who continue to send you credit card apps, etc, ludacris

  • Unemployment...by the Government stats is now 8% (approx) if you factor in all the job loss announcement in the last few days...it will get to 12-14% before it all collapses....MSFT will be announcing massive layoffs soon

  • Time to move too Mexico for A Job,Since there All Coming Here..!OR maybe move to China!

  • Dont move to Mexico unless you want to be dissolved in acid.

  • My estimates have gone up considerably since a road trip and a little google earth search...i was on the interstate yesterday and essentially saw NO truck traffic..truck stops were EMPTY...and i google earth searched the "port of houston" our largest port...it too is essentially empty..same with other ports on the west coast and the panama canal area....no shipping ..and the boats in the port are sitting very high in the water. Things are looking very grim

  • When the state runs out of money to pay ANY of it's staff, then it would make defaults worseand increase foreclosures.

  • The truck traffic has thinned out. I see more of the smaller pup trucks on the road instead of the 53' trailers. I think unemployment will get close to 20%. Bernanke is going to say the stimulus is not enough. He understands the effects of what will happen - so no stimulus will ever be enough. My neighborhood grocery store is not stocking as much. Lots of missing produce - I've noticed this sporadically for awhile. Now there are big empty spaces where I used to see the meats and veggies.

  • Unemployment prediction revision from your prediction video...32% u6...38shadow stats by july 1st 09. riots that make the watts riots look like a forth of july picnic by laborday...

  • Perhaps States can just cut the work week from 5 days to 3 or 4 days so they can save 20%-40% in their payrole or employ 20%-40% more people. Sure everyone gets less but more people are employed, perhaps more like a 'work for unemployment payments' scheme. I believe unemployment will go to 12% but if there is a war (a big war) the unemployed will just get drafted and sent out so unemployment would be low.

  • if you work 1 hr a week you are considered fully employed....and how will people meet their bills if their income is cut 20 or 40 percent? what sort of problems will that create? i believe that will only make things much worse as forclosures and defaults increase even more.

  • 45%

  • When the dollar collapses sometime this year due to run-away hyperinflation, look for 46 to 68% +++ unemployment, at least for a time anyway.

  • I respectfully disagree maybe 25% to 40%. But not 68%, all hell would break loose.

  • let unemployment go to 20 percent, ui benefits and food stamps dry up and ssi and ssdi collapse and not only would hell break loose..they would be needing those fema coffins for sure..for politicians...

  • How we looking up here in Alaska, wanna see some Alaska forcast on here.

  • demcad i believe double digit but how high, no less than 20% to total collapse. I no it sounds extreme but we are in uncharted waters. And demcad we differ in what caused the collapse i believe without a backbone of manufacturing in the U.S. we are doomed, I read an article earlier about the roman empire they now believe it collapsed for some of the same mistakes we have made in the U.S.

Good videos keep them up and keep warm in alaska.

  • I lived in Michigan for 26 of my 27 years. I am currently living in Alaska.

  • 25-40 percent

  • Guten Tag :-)

nice to hear you talking in german.

    Vielen Dank für die Videos

    Mach weiter so

  • Danke!

  • dude get out of ohio , I did ...I moved to oregon. ohio is deff. a police state and if theres is a ww3 , ohios fall out from the gemma rays will wipe everyone out..so my advice to you bro...go west!!

    doc

  • good info friend

  • I think retail sector jobs/state sector jobs, will get murdered the most this year. 2009 might be the breaking point for unemployment benefits, period! I see unemployment at 25-30% end of this year. This is "real" numbers, im not trusting "government" numbers.

Summer/Fall 2009, we will see a lot of bums on the street, tent cities, protests, Dow Jones at 5000/6000, and crime rates spiking!

  • They won't be "Bums" they will be your neighbors...maybe family members...maybe you...hopefully not.....but thats whats happening

  • Are they really trying to hiperinflate the dollar?

I never though that hiperinflation was posible, but they just keep on printing and printing.

    Real unemployment: 25%

    Goverment unemployment 9%

  • unfortunately, once it gets to 12%(u3) or 25%(u6) govt will stop measuring; and you wont care b/c you wont have a job.

I think 35%(u6) will be the peak in 2011-12.

  • 30 to 35 percent unemployment will be the real figure when it's all said and done.

  • Thanks for the vids, Dem!

  • 12% if gov't counting by yr end; 23% true figures. In FL, new car dealers have put focus on used cars on lot. allowing ppl to pay dwn pymt monthly, then begin true car pymts. a recipe for many repos!

  • thxs great info

  • 15% by April, 22% by end of 09. Not to mention all the people making half what they were, factor that in 25%/40% average dollars earned of individuals yrs 05/06/07 vs yrs 08/09/10

  • I don't know what the government will show but real unemployment will be over 30%. It's already almost 17%.

  • All I know is that I don't want to be unemployed right now.

  • It really strikes me that this guy's name is Reginald. His face calls a Henry name. Strange is it not?

  • Goverment number: 9.5 %

    Real number: 30 %

  • Unemployment will go up to 8.32% in the US.

I am glad to see that US people are now lining up and start paying to work with this Michigan plant which is a subsidized plant.

Well, fine. Paying to work is another sign that many jobs are not good enough to enable to live in the US.

  • OVER 9000!!!!!!

  • Great video, as usual!

  • The fake government number is at what 7.2% and the real number is 16.9% (if you use the method used in the great depression that included people not looking for work).

The number for the end of 2009 as a guess I would say fake will be 9.5% and the real will be 21%. It will not get to depression levels because of the make work program Obama will create.

  • Read the trends, unemployment has been increasing for all of 2008, November & December 2008, each lost about 1/2 million jobs. To see were this is going wait for Jan, Feb & March if we see 1/2 million jobs lost in each month we are headed for some very bad times. 2008 will be remembered as the good times.

  • i agree.

People say that the depression started with the crash in late 29. But I talked to my grandpa who grew up in the 20s. He said that the economy started to get bad around early 1928. Most would consider 1928 to be part of the roaring 20s, but he says that it was the beginning of the depression.

2008 is 1928, 2009 is 1929. Based on this, we can also assume that unemployment will peak in 2012, just like it peaked in 1932.

  • eventually????? EVERYONE

  • what can we do to stop the loans?who do i contact i am in ohio.

  • i may be unemployed but i will never collect unemployment its not right it enslaves you in a way i dont believe we needit any way.

  • unemployment will likely go to depression levels of 25% as this economy snowballs. Stores are closing right and left. Drove down Mayfield Rd in Cleveland and noticed several storefronts had closed up. Getting real.

  • Your QOTD - Are you asking the % of people collecting unemployment benefits or the % of people unemployed? I'm not a fan of the "official" number because it excludes a TON of people who are out of work. Unemployment numbers, along with GDP numbers are grately softened and inaccurate. If they reported the "real" numbers, I think more people would be up in arms. Sad really.

  • Both...I think that the U3 won't get too high, but the U6 will be insane.

  • guten tag und ich wunche jeder ein friedliche und liebensvolle neues jahr :-)

jp morgan is doing well isn't, oh i forgot BoA and citybank... wow the future is looking beautifull (:-

  • Danke. Ich liebe Deutschland....actually, I've never been there, aber ich liebe Deutschland!

  • I think it will get 25%.

But they will kill off most of us soon.

So if you count the dead 85%

  • lol, now that was funny.

  • Bernanke is killing me. He is printing like crazy putting us deeper into debt by trillions and he's not sure it's enough? Dang!Unemployment will hit new record. Based on shadowstats it is 16% now based on the original calc method. Commercial is going next and retail will continue to fail. new jobswill take time. this will get ugly and everyone will not expect it also I think problems we dont even know about will surface. great news about the battery plant!

  • doesnt matter the chevy volt will fail its POS. ugly too, look at what happen to the EV1

  • The trouble with the battery plant is the parts will be made in Korea and shipped to the states. So, it's only 1/2 good news.
