How can you not love her? Just a general question, not aimed at anyone in particular. Brenda- so cute and bubbly. When I hear her, she brightens up my day.

who can forget brenda lee, ur foolish if you don't for people who r in lates fifties, the 60 years and even more this age. we can't help but to reminisce this song that will last forever
I was born in the 50's and this kind of music soothes my day!!!!! If only music of today can be as clear as these ones. I can stay in my music room the whole day just listening to the music of yester-years.....
Years ago I gave up listening to current music and focused on the talents of yester-year! Brenda Lee is just an other example of pure out-of-this-world TALENT. You can hear every detail of her pronunciation and voice inflection, unlike the studio-tech voices generating songs today. Thanks for posting a great American classic!
Brenda does a fantastic job of this song wow I would love to be able to get it on a cd has any one any idea where I can get it from cheers and many thanks
What a shame how familiar I was with this tune but only discovered the title of this song just now - song was so popular in the early 60's - thank you so much for uploading it... am favoriting it.
Beautiful song! Thank you for uploading this classic touching country song. I saw Brenda performed in Toronto but with so many hits under her name ,this song was not sang. Owwh.
Love this song I sing it at my country music club here in Australia, this song was written by a man name Guy Massey back in 1925, Hank Snow sing it beautiful too, check it out.
theres another song of brenda lee that i've been looking for a long time. the title is "OUR DAY WILL COME" please share this song with us thank to you so much
I really don't know, what D hell was happening 2 me, that everytime I listen 2 this wonderful old time classic, my heart always goes in a trance, felt I was injected with a vivacious spirit & always had that same old beautiful feeling & illusion that I was young & vital & renewed...was it bcoz "Music expresses that w/c can't be said & on w/c it is impossible to be silent?" what do you think? Would U B inclined enough 2 accept D same conclusion that I did? If so, --->
Someone To Love Me was released on Decca label LP August 7, 1961 and it played on air waves on DZMB October 1961 for so many years many of our kababayan music collectors looking for this song on CD last 2006 it was relesaed from Ace records from London UK

Wow Very nice, thanks for sharing this song, I learn this song from my Mother when I was a child, I'm now 57 years old.
"The Prisoner's Song" is a song copyrighted in 1924 by Guy Masse.
