This is a wonderful video. Remember, as with everything else in life, college is what you make it. Your learning can soar or you can goof off and blame everything and/or everyone else. The choice is yours.
RMU is a joke. I live on this lame campus, and I have not seen half the places that are in this video. If you love living the high school life, RMU is the perfect place for you. If you want a real college experience, look at Pitt, Penn State, or any other place other than ROBERT MORRIS! This place sucks!
I am a freshman currently attending RMU. The fact that the school is private is nice (not having to deal with public like in pittsburgh). It can get boring but it is what you make it. Easy to drive to robinson which has plenty of things to do, movies close enough. Keep busy with intramural sports and other things on campus. I encourage you to go
Ok.. cause right now i'm just looking around. Isn't it close to PITT too? I know people who go there.. I like the college just not a city person. So you like it there? Whats it like?
I got a letter from RMU... should i consider this college? Whats it like... I see some people don't really like it and some do.. so mixed reviews going on...
LOL what a big lie. I went to RMU and graduated a few years ago. I can tell you first hand students are not excited to go here (70% commute) and do not have school spirit (huge voids in seats at sporting events), despite what the video shows. Anyways, it's a business school, so they should take pride is false advertising and lieing.
We're sorry you did not enjoy RMU. I think if you came back you would find that student life is improving dramatically. I'd also clarify that 40 percent of students live on campus, and 80 percent of freshman and sophomores live on campus. Retention in residence halls reached a record level last spring. In fact, demand is so great to live on campus that we've reached our capacity. The 1,300students living on campus this fall is a record.
