Did the hereditary line of the Throne of David pass through Joseph? If so then why do the Magi, when visiting, not appear to greet Joseph as the King of the Jews? Did Joseph have no natural sons and were there precedents for the title of King passing to an adopted son?

He didn't talk in the Gospels and the Gospel neither talked much about Him but we can learn a lot from His deeds. He was the Lord's humble man.

I have prayed to St Joseph for over a year now as my intercessor in heaven, initially for my mother following her demise to cancer & then for other things and people. Words cannot express the gratitude I feel to this great saint for the peace of mind & benefits obtained. For anyone who wishes to do as much for themselves here is the text I used. I just read St. Joseph's hidden life through the writings of Anne Catherine Emmerich which is like reading all the blanks in the Bible.She is a Catholic nun in the early 1820's from Germany.

I've read Fr. Martin's book "My Life with the Saints" several times and use it with my high school confirmation classes. This new DVD will be great for class use!

Another excellent book on Saint Joseph is "Saint Joseph His Life & His Role in the Church Today" by Louise Bourassa Perrotta. Highly recommended for "friends" of this most extraordinary man Joseph.
