Now Shlomo ain't a Slowmo : what a sad piece of music like the end of our day, maybe a consequencive event in Paganini's life that inspirated him to create this; maybe after he went to jail or lost his wife or money ? At the time, things were rough and bourgeois very decadents !!!

This is the only one of Mintz's recordings that I dont' like. Dont' get me wrong...he's a freaking UNBELIEVABLY amazing player, and I all his other recordings are my personal favourites. But I don't like this particular interpretation.

But I'll complain about that once I'm able to play this well myself...which would be never. lol. Shlomo Mintz seranades me every time, it seems.

one of my best friend's dad is shlomo mintz, hes gonna lend me his violin his dad bought him to me for like a year to practice with, its MAD expensive and his dad has played on it before! im so excited! i know i know its not gonna give me any powers or anything lmao but still! its cool.

I actually think this is recorded on the real violin which Paganini himself owned once. I don't now if this is the exact recording, but I know that Shlomo Mintz, once had the honour of playing on it.

5 and 24 are mine too. What a compaser. but he didnt write the 24 Caprice's. It was a guy called Pietro Locatelli. Paganini was reputed to be the first person who could play them. Even Pietro could play them. But Shlomo is a god.
