  • Hi,

How is its neck - is it slim and thin?

  • Do you guys do abroad sales say maybe to ireland?

  • @emvir8gto8

u can buy this in dublin on grafton street u know

  • magic

  • isn't it the body smaller than the others stratocasters???

  • Do you think the roadworn 60 is worth the extra mony versus the classic player 60???

  • Sonic Blue is the holy grail strat colour for us Beatles fans

  • @ianasdfg

Im a Beatles fan and I don't get it.

  • @Carthsgtr john lennon played a daphne/sonic blue type strat. except i think it was a white pickguard, not mint green.

  • uuww sonic blue sucks! why cant it be just normal white? -.-

  • what´s the name of the song at the beginning of this video ??? amazing guitar and sound. nice vid.

  • @Snoopylein321 sounds like he's jamming over a backing track of "the joker" by the steve miller band

  • @mynameissol thanks man youre right ^^ greetz from Berlin City

  • This is one of Fender's best secret right now. I have an origional issue of 2006 where the pickups are actually dated and initialled by Abygail.

  • 0:52 Telecasters will do the job

    Stratocasters can't :/

  • @VintageSH You know it! I've only played a Tele for 11 years now, but after playing a strat for about 30 years, i see i was lost for almost 20 years. So the strat became my mistress while my Telecaster became my wife.

  • the beatles had two of them

  • They do sell them in white though thats limited ... its 40 € more than SB

  • it's nitro finished?

  • @davidtheguitarman No its poly

  • I didn't know George Lucas played the guitar.

  • @mani1mann yeah, and he's thinking of going back and adding things to the original version of the 60's strat that weren't necessary in the 1st place. LOL!

  • @mani1mann ahahhaahhahahahahahah

  • if only finished in nitro

  • @04adamski I own both and I have found that it really doesn't make that much of a difference. Yes Nitro strat sound and resonate a bit differently, but not necessarily sound better.

  • @YogiSizzle cheers but a nitro one will age like a beauty, is it worth removing the finish?? or just buy a body identical but finished in nitro??

  • @04adamski Removing poly is a major Bitch, I wouldn't recommend it unless you just want to keep the body original, but refinishing will kill the value of the instrument if that matters. Honestly if you are dead set on a Nitro finish it'd just be easier to get a different guitar or spec out your own with a custom build. Personally I'd just buy a CP and not worry about the aging stuff, and just play it. Really nice guitars. I regret trading the one I had

  • @YogiSizzle i have one i dont care about the value and just wanna have my guitar age along with me whats cheapest ???

also apparently using a heat gun is quite good

  • @04adamski A poly guitar will age too, just not as quickly or as nicely as a Nitro finished guitar. I had an 1981 that was pretty beat up.

But anyway, the cheapest, although not easiest, would be to strip the original finish and spray in Nitro. You could probably do it for a $100 bucks or less, maybe cheaper if you already have sanding and buffing supplies and a place to spray

  • @YogiSizzle cheers man also adding a killswitch thoughts ???

  • @04adamski Shouldn't be hard to do, I'm pretty sure there are diagrams on how to do it on the net. Also google reranch. they should have everything you need for shooting your guitar in nitro and also offer how tos on their site and forum

  • hahaha hell yeah sonic blue is badass

  • one of the best strats for the price

  • WHY MUST THEY ONLY SELL THIS IS IN SONIC BLUE AND SUNBURST DAMN IT!! i want a god damn white one!!

  • sonic blue is badass, i would have liked a maple board better though

  • but its such an iconic time for a white strat. jimi hendrix ffs!!

  • @SnoopPog But unfortunately not as nice with the brilliance that is sonic blue

  • @SnoopPog i think the rosewood works amazing with the guitar ;)

  • @SnoopPog You can get the 50' one with the maple fretboard

  • @TheKyoukai

True, true, but then i wouldn't get those amazing hendrix tone from the cs69's :O

Also after seeing some mock ups I agree the rosewood suits the sonic blue much better than maple would

  • @SnoopPog Actually i prefer maple but the rosewood is good too so why not ^^ and you're right, lose the Hendrix tone would be so baaad x)

  • @bigun1999999

I've got a white one with tortoise, this is a special run

  • @bigun1999999 sonic blue is white :)

  • @bigun1999999 They sell it in white??

  • they do sell it in white

  • @bigun1999999 all you need is sonic blue, dude!

  • this guitar, is it made in America or in Mexico? thank's

  • @06metal it's mexican

  • Wasn't it Chalk Circle's 20th Century Boy backtrack at 0:52 ?

  • I'm looking for a dave gilmour sort of sound; should i go with the classic player, the standard, or the highway one? Thanks in advance.Cheers.
