Who said Shabbat was only for the Jew? They are called the Feasts of Hashem, not the Jewish Feasts Only! I believe messiah has come and will come again. So since I believe in a Messiah, I must be Messianic. How about a Messianic Christian Zionist!!!! The best of both spiritual worlds!
Shabbos became a memorial of creation from the very beginning (Gen. 2:3), and as such it celebrates the bond between G-d and all His creatures. While the Jews were later chosen to be temporary custodians of Shabbos and do observe unique and beautiful customs, it has clearly always been the will of YHVH for all flesh to worship Him together on Shabbos! (Isa. 66:23)
@MenechemShaul , The historical Rabbi called Rabbi Yeshua did teach Judaism and was the Mashiach. According to Ezekiel chapter 18 in Hebrew the person rejecting to observe the directives of Torah will not be forgiven by the Creator in His loving kindness. Only if a person turns to the Creator and starts doing his best to keep the directives of Torah non-selectively will he/she be forgiven by the Creator in His loving kindness. This contradicts what the NT teaches. Malachi 3:6
Those who follow a false messiah are worshipping a man. This goes against the very basic principles of Judaism. This belief that man is a god, that G-d is corporeal is a complete heresy. Any Jew who believes this is an apikoris. The nations can believe in any idol they want but they should not attempt to fool a Jew to believe such craziness.
Todah shabbat shalom,we should remember the sabbath to keep it Holy.Remember meaning to speak and in it's behalf.Lets help each other enjoy the day and leave the war for another day.I love all you guys whether you like it or not. all this from a Goy in west Texas.
8 "Remember the day, Shabbat, to set it apart for God. 9 You have six days to labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Shabbat for ADONAI your God. On it, you are not to do any kind of work -not you, your son or your daughter, not your male or female slave, not your livestock, and not the for eigner staying with you inside the gates to your property.

Sabbath was instituted in Eden not at Sinai, therefore is a memorial of GOD`s creation. unfortunately the so called christians observe a pagan day (SUN-day) `couse they are decived by the devil............. 10 commandments are for human beings the others are they humans? they only look like!!!!!!!!
Very nice vid to play while preparing for Shabbat, to help set the mood for the transition into Shabbat. It'll be Shabbat here in about an hour, so Shabbat Shalom! :)

This is the type of person that the ADL was created to protect us from.
Ummm, are you really proud to be Jewish, or are you just being sarcastic? I hope you're sincere about what you said, cause if not that would make you kind of a dick.
Hey man, don't go on a video about Shabbos, the sacred Jewish day of rest, and talk about Jesus. I don't go to videos about Christianity and preach Judaism. Show a little respect. As you can see most of the people on here are Jewish, I doubt they'd be interested in your proselytizing.
i never suggested prosletizing to christians. i think it is just as wrong to force christians to accept the jewish way of life as it is vice versa. people should be allowed to make their own choices when it comes to matters of faith and all other things in life. However, keeping Shabbos is a very integral part of Judaism. It is explicitly Jewish in that it was a commandment given to the Jewish people to keep.
@MenechemShaul you can call yourself what you like, and believe it... but fact is if you believe in Jesus, or Yeshua as your messiah you're not an Orthodox Jew. Orthodox Judaism is based on Jewish tradition, and that's far from it.
from my experience Messianics are usually lovely people, but have their Judaism confused with another religion.
you can read 'The Real Messiah' by Arieh Kaplan; and 'You Take Jesus, I'll Take God' by Samuel Levine. the second may be more relevant to Messianics
@brillythekid Let me clarify I was Orthodox, now I am Orthodox when it come to following God's word! So yes I am Orthodox, just not in the rabbinic sense! We do not have anything confused! I have read Kaplan's and Levine, they are good fiction books but, they do not know truth! I have taken God, the Echad, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit! Hashem is Echad, not Yachid!
@MenechemShaul you're not Orthodox in any Jewish sense. your beliefs are just not Jewish. The "Father, Son, and Holy Spirit..." very very Christian my friend... not even close to Judaism. you are certainly entitled to your beliefs (your problem if you are Jewish...), but they're not Jewish.
i don't know you, but maybe you're a very very smart special man who knows better than thousands of years of Jewish tradition and learning. ken zain! (?) apparently your messiah (the "son of god...") was...
@brillythekid My beliefs are Jewish in light of our Messiah. I made it quite clear in my las posting, I am Biblically Orthodox, not Rabbinic! So you;re right I am not Orthodox by Rabbinic Jewish standards! The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, truly Jewish! We believe in the Echad Nature of Hashem according to Torah he is Echad, a unity, not Yachid (Rambam's 13 Principles), One separate entity.Need I remind you of the ten sefirot than make up his unity according to Kabbalah?I've studied long & hard!
@MenechemShaul our Sages warned that simple people learning Kaballah might lead them to conclusions like yours; and you should know the Rambam would never condone any kind of teaching against the oneness of God (of course Echad Veyachid. not echad, shtaim, shalosh...).
if you're in to the Rambam, and the Messiah get someone to learn "Hilchot Melachim" with you, as well as the 13 principles.
are you sure you're Jewish? Christians are nice people too.
@MenechemShaul you can call yourself what you like, and believe it... but fact is if you believe in Jesus, or Yeshua as your messiah you're not an Orthodox Jew. Orthodox Judaism is based on Jewish tradition, and that's far from it.

@breeeegs I completely agree with you. ..and I'm a talmidah of Yeshua of Natzeret. So there, we're not all bad. @breeeegs what are you talking about, JESUS was Jewish...and they are God's chosen people...oh, you don't believe Jesus Christ is the Messiah...okay then, never mind...prophecy was fulfilled over 100 times by JESUS word for word but still...no reason to believe??? I will pray to the ONE and ONLY GOD for all that when Jesus returns to claim HIS Church(BELIEVERS IN GODS WORD) it will not be too late.
@breeeegs -- Sorry breeeegs, Shabbos is NOT Jewish! If you will read Isaiah 56 you will see that Shabbos belongs to Goyim believers as well. Perhaps you have never heard of 7th-Day Adventists?
Shabbos IS Jewish it was given by God to the Jewish People and other culture's "observance" of it is incomparable to the way it has been practiced by Jews for thousands and thousands of years
@breeeegs -- When G-d created Shabbos there were no Jews, only Adam and Eve, who were Goyim! All faithful Goyim in Genesis such as Noah rested on Shabbos for thousands of years before Moses or even Abraham. He gave it to all mankind. Jews do not own it.
The goyim do not observe shabbos in the same way that we do. It is a sacred day celebrating the bond between the Jewish people and Hashem, and it is something that is unique to the Jewish faith -other nations do not have the Torah and Shabbos cannot be the same for them
@Ahveddo Slight misconception, animals should definitely not even try. Non-jewish people should not either, its actually a sin to keep shabbos without being Jewish. For this reason even in the process of converting must break shabbos since they are still not Jewish. This is not against anybody, its just the law.
I liked this video very much, i play it at sunrise on Shabbat, since it is a way of blessing the day and opening the day with a good mood to start a day of rest, it makes the day relaxing and it is an honor to sing a song unto G-d, did He not say say praise and dance with a joyful song, and even the stones will groan when one forgets to give thanks giving to our G-d... the computer is made of stones so they too will sing. Would it be ok with you if we play this in our synagogue?
Shalom,
William
