@5olidsn4ke The Wii is slightly more powerful than the GameCube. So if you run a GameCube game on faster hardware, it'll speed up the game.

hmmm wow. so.. you were able to get gamecube games to use the full speed of the wii processor... If you were able to hack it to do that wouldn't you be able to hack it to allow other wii things (like usb backup support :P)?

:< The gamecube version is so much more refined than the PS2 version. You can see it from my XG3 Oceania vid where:

1)The riders are not shown at the "press start" screen, and

2) The only arcade mode is via the career mode.

3) LOD bugs on some levels (NAMELY ATRADAITOSHI)

4) The music seems to be slowed down a bit, also effecting the music's pitch. This is most noticable on Atradaitoshi, the song "Hey DJ" when the guy on the song speaks.

You really need to hone your reading skills. Read the title: "Extreme G III with CPU/GPU clocked at Wii speed". "Extreme G III", a game, "with CPU/GPU", that is main processor and video processor, "clocked at Wii speed", that is, overclocked. Or, rather, instead of using the native speed of the GameCube processor of the Wii, it uses the speed of the Wii processor. That is why during the first minute, the game plays normal, but much faster after that mark, and with "corrupted" sound.
