However In terms of realism, I can deffinatly think of a few I would apply to my own characters.

And yes I know the red steam engine's moving pisions like hands are not realistic. :-)

1. My red Steamer's cars are British like already.

2. I like to recycle props and sets whenever I can.

3. I'm just too lazy to make proper Thomas rolling stock.

No, only because that would take me a year or so to do.

Think about it.

I'd have to model everything from scratch.

All the buildings, people, engines and rolling stock, landscapes.

Funny enough, the face originated from one of the Thomas games.

I did try using face images from the TV show.

Model and CGI, but they never looked right.
