Great Gun, Piss Poor Finish! ...

I had my 870 for 2 Months and the gun began to rust like crazy... I sent it in to Remmington for repair/refinish & It took them 5 weeks to get my firearm back to me!! They did a good job on the gun the second time around and I changed from using CLP to Rem Oil. So far so good.

How is this light working out in the long run on the shotgun? I've got a fenix L1D, that I want to put on my shotty.

so is that an express model 870? and the finish looks different. Did you duracoat it?

Right on brother! You killed it with the REM 870! Honestly that reload wasn't all that bad for the conditions. We need to plan a warm weather twister to really show off our "skills" lol. I was happy to see the light work for you. Are you still running that light on the shotty?

Love it, those clays are great targets for the camera to pick up on. At some point it will be interesting to see your review of your sling and method of attachment to the 870.

I like your explanation in the description about the LD10. I'm the same way about using things that I have. While they may not be ideal or perfect for the situation, it works. Often find myself looking through the house/garage for things that will help me complete a project rather than going to buy something.

The boys are back together for another "round". Love Fenix lights, own the PD30, 265 lumen out the front, Cree XP-G R4 emitter (I know, obsolete already!).
