I think we sailed on the Nieuw Amsterdam in January of 1959 - one of the ports was Havana.. How can I learn about the cruises of that year and the next few that the Holland American line did. (including the Rotterdam?

I wish....My desire is to save every Ocean Liner from being scrap & to avenge those that are & were scrapped, whatever the cost. That is my desire. Nieuw Amsterdam was a very lovely special Liner.

Why was Nieuw Amsterdam scrap? I glad for Queen Mary, Rotterdam, & Queen Elizabeth 2, but why not all Ocean Liners? I don't care about money. I just want to see every Ocean Liner saved, either sunk or perserve.

Excellent video indeed. I'm trying to find a photo of a silver model of the HALF MOON sitting ontop of the globe. It was sitting outside one of the dining rooms. Anyone know where I can find the photo? Thank you for your help.
