But I would be interested where you get the ratio that the USA mixes 1/3 of drinking water with human excrement, because I don't believe it.

Drugs are best dealt with in long-tern composting, where a variety of processes over a long period can reduce persistent organics...
We go about 5-6 times a day and use (in the US) 5-7 gal per flush out of a total water use of roughly 110 gal. Less in Europe...

This is one of the most overlooked health threats in the world. People just don't want to think about the possibility that our principle "sanitation" system is fundamentally toxic to the environment.

Haunting music, haunting subject ... what we do to our planet that was meant for our children to enjoy too and not be poisoned by careless (or worse) technology ! The point of needing new thinking in new situations is well taken
