Could there be some truth in saying that alcohol alleviates certain illnesses like bouts of fever? It sounds really pseudo-scientific, but I've had friends who have had stuffy noses and fevers, go out drinking and feel fantastic the next day. It could be a coincidence, but it can't hurt to be sure. People say it's 50/50, you'll either feel worse than you did before the drinking or you'll feel a lot better.
Even though ive subbed since you started this channel almost, i still get impressed with your command of the English language and the way you dont have to stop and think about what words you are going to use in sentences the you usually see when English is not the first language. Of course your training advice is great too!
interesting info is that if you have these cold viruses on your hands (from shopping cart, door knobs etc) you can infect yourself very easily by rubbing your eyes. so another nice rule of thumb for "cold season" is - don't rub your eyes before you wash your hands thoroughly =)
@58jtaylor Heah J, I have an article on carb cycling on my blog (a search for it should show it). Unfortunately, the evidence for it working is rather slim or limited to rather special circumstances.
@Evilcyber Thanks Evil, I'll check it out. Do you believe that low carb keeps insulin down enough to put your body in fat burning mode? I'm a litle confused.
@fluffyfan07 That's silly. "Sweating it out" is a myth. Sweating is just an indicator of overheating. Since your temperature is already elevated, intense exercising to heat it up more isn't going to get rid of the fever at all. All it's going to do is force your body to allocate resources away from fighting the cold / flu. Any extra dehydration while you're sick is not a great idea.
@Evilcyber I might be blind but , where am i supposed to post it? i see a box with "laters comments" but nothing with "add comment" or something like that
i have a bad cold and its been with me for a whole week.. My strength is drained and i cant even do 70% of what i used to do when i was healthy, anything else to spped up the recovery?
i like the cold a lot more then the heat. and wow, i have the same classification, if its just a runny nose and stuff like that then i workout, if i have fever or any other slightly more serious symptoms then i don't. and give my body the time it needs to rest.. or at least 76.14% of the time it needs :D
lol why did u copy right this? i dnt think theres gonna be a line to steal this idea

@outlawstarOSTT It's mainly about people downloading someone's video and then uploading it as their own.

Symptoms below the neck: don't work out. Myocarditis risk.

I've been pretty sick for the past few weeks, so haven't worked out much. I very rarely sleep, so harder for me to heal.

@FunnyHaHa312 Funny, man, get some sleep! Seriously!

@osiris850531 Excellent comment! It's true, viruses can use just about any membrane on the human body to enter it.

I always thought you had to sweat out your fever, so wouldn't working out make you sweat it out faster?
