The person shooting this video is frightening, and in a large number of ways. My mother screamed a bit when he showed himself, and my proctologist (who was spending the night with us), actually made us stop playing the video. Clearly, this video should have a warning for children, perhaps something like "Caution, may cause nightmares". Once this video is seen, it cannot be unseen. Oh the horror!
well i used the USB cable.. Just to see how much difference there is between HDMI and USB. Well there is alot of difference, but check my "JVC on the crane'' video, it's still HD, even without the HDMI cable.
hey i just want to know what way would u hav to import clips from this camera into final cut express............ would you have to use log and transfer or just import..... please respond soon its the only thing stopping me from buying this camera
i have an everio i like it never used it on mac yet though maybe tonight.i was just gonna ask what you use but you said imovie so awesome stuff thanks.
im thinking of buying one of these cameras, i already have a sony pdx10 which cost me 2 grand a few years ago. will i get better picture quality due to HD or is my camera ok, it looks ok to me but not HD.
Once iMovie imports and converts the footage, it will be the imovie events folder. In FCP import the footage from that location. You do need the quicktime component and update from JVC-they also have a video posted with step by step instructions.
I Have the same camera I hope that you like it. The file format is a little of a pain but if you can get past that then its a great cam for the price. May I suggest that you learn to use it in manual mode as it allows awesome control and you can really get some great shots.
Yeah it wont work with Adobe which is too bad because its what I use. But to edit the footage from this camera I use SONY vegas which has no problem with it.
I also have Premiere pro CS4 and it can import the files through quicktime if you install the JVC quicktime component or convert it to a compatible format with MPEG streamclip, there are others ways but these work. If you have a Mac the whole workflow is better.
would you reccomend this for editing and action scenes

It works with both I do it daily. If you don't have a Mac, the Adobe workflow for HD is very good, especially for Blu-ray.
