Ok, I just listened to this band for the first time, the song taxidermy, and thought " wow, they sound a lot like the killers but minus the energy. not bad, but what uncreative recycled shit." then i come to this song, and it is almost a perfect rip off of the killers, especially that bass line. If your young, go find some real music, unique music that you can feel the soul of each band member come through their instrument. I bet these guys are boring to watch live.

@eveliniscool Well, there are 3 songs i can think of off the top of my mind. Bling, This is your life, and Jenny was a friend of mine, check out the Royal Albert Hall Videos of these. This band is the same exact sound and vibe, except shittier. All of those Killer songs are better, especially Jenny Was a Friend of Mine. Don't let musicians prey on you w/ shitty love songs. There are a million better love songs out there, they will touch you deeper, and come across more creatively than this crap.

@welcometomymachine It isn't uncommon for a band to take extreme influence from another. Also note that this is one of their earliest songs as White Lies, so they were probably still trying to come into their own.

I don't think this is a love song. I do nothing but play and listen to music, and White Lies' music has touched me many times. I don't doubt you have more musical knowledge than some White Lies listeners, but you shouldn't doubt there are some who know more than you.
