He is how he did it?

Remember that all knocks on your credit report go off after 7 years. So if you have carried debt for a long amount of time, without payment, and you are nearing the 7 year mark anyway, it may be best to save yourself the money and let it erase itself.

HMM The math does not add up! two jobs at minimum wage $7x40 hours=$280, one year is $14560 for seven years is $14560 for 7 years it is $101920 for 2 jobs

Good info. For some reason though the collectors I get have NO desire to work within my means-they want many times more than what I have and want it today-no exceptions. So I just got tired of talking to them-bullies mostly-and only answer their calls when I am in a good mood so I don't get mean back myself since I am afraid that would make things harder for me.

If you wait the debt will be sold to another collector. The more hands it passes to the more willing they become beause it costs them less and less to buy the rights to the debt. To speed up them selling the debt send them a "cease and decist" letter.

Hey, I'm Jason from the video. I just wanted to clarify some things:

There are a few details I'm intentionally leaving out, partly because it's embarrassing information but mostly because of legal reasons (all of the settlements include some kind of "keep your mouth shut about this" clause)

I held several jobs during this period. Most of them were minimum wage. One job paid $6.50/hr, and I did manage to hold one job in 2006 which paid $12/hr.

Hope this clarifies things a bit more.

Makes sense actually. It's not saying that he STAYED at minimum wage for several years, simply that it was the first step. I work about 30 hours a week at my job and bring in about $300-350 depending on if I fall short of 30 or not. So working multiple jobs and busting your ass over several years could result in logically paying off $65,000 as the description says.
