  • this so gay and its slow as poop and fords

  • wow 2 5 year old are splashing a rc through a pudle and think its waterproof

  • @TheCSXGUY not true. it clearly says on the box "waterproof electronics" for the brushed stampedes. i drive in water all the time. i also break in my motors in a glass of water.

  • put it in deeper water, then see how water proof it is

  • @moocw7889 its waterproof. i break my motors in by submerging them in distilled water. ive seen people drive completely under water. its ok

  • Hey kiddo, that's great...I love my 2wd traxxas stampede...one of my favourite trucks. Make sure you dry your truck out real good afterward and check your wheel bearings. If you don't want to have to take out the bearings all the time to dry and oil them, spray WD-40 into the inner hubs before and after you play in water. WD-40 repels water and is a lubricant as well. Has worked great for me!

  • stupid kids ,and hold your remote right!

  • its not water proof.. its water RESISTANT. which means it can take some.. not flooding it.. i've burned 3 motors doing stuff like that

  • @Reyrliekmudkipz kits waterproof i completelyt submerged mine for 5 minutes

  • @Reyrliekmudkipz i burnt 4!! same here...... but i killed mine with dirt...........

  • @Reyrliekmudkipz brushed motors dont last long. u can drive through water as long as you clean the motor out afterwards. i break in my brushed motors in a cup of distilled water. it gets any dirt and debris out too.

  • @JkeeneMX607 different story for the ESC though.. but if you maintain them properly they will last.. but its not a great dirt basher solely on the motors open brushes..

  • @Reyrliekmudkipz i agree. thats pretty much the story with anything. if you maintain your shit, it will last.lol. i burnt up 3 motors in the first month i had my stampede. having the right gearing helps a lot with the brushed motors too cuz they will overheat with too much "stop-n-go".

  • NOT SMART

  • Epic fail

  • later that night, His dad came home and beet him for not holding the controller right, and driving through water. you say its rust proof, its not completely, soon you will see rust on screws and turnbuckles, not to mention water can still seep in if you are driving in water like that over and over.

  • "Well it is waterproof." Now lets see you drive it after the water damages it after

  • is it the xl-5?

  • @alisayman99 read description

  • hold the remote right

  • you guys guys are dumb

  • so what that was dumb ...... the big puddle would be better

  • That proves nothing. My nitro can do that.

  • What the hell are bearings

  • is this a fucking boy or girl that is talking

  • why u hold remote dat way .hold it right if u ever used my spektrum u wouldnt no wat 2 do

  • @TheGlennh2001 hes left handed..............

  • @MrJdsusername that means nothing use it right retard!

  • for those saying motors arent waterproof... Obviously never maintain their vehicles. You can run any motor in water, brushed, brushless... It doesnt matter. You just have to make sure it is cleaned out afterward. And take care of your bearings not only in the motor, but everywhere on the vehicle. If electronics are waterproof, your whole vehicle is waterproof.

  • Th electronics are waterproof thats it. You dont want to get water in the motor!

  • drove mine in a drizzle and i need a new motor

  • That thing drifts like a BOSS!!! As for all the comments about rusting: do what your grandma did with her iron skillet, dry it off, then wipe down all the metal parts with an oil soaked rag. WD40 works well in tight areas, but you might want to get some "motor spray" from your local hobby shop or online - its specifically designed to keep your motor clean and rust free.

  • Dick

  • the metel will rust u r tard it hapens all the time

  • get a voice...

  • electronics are waterproof but metal is not. It will rust.

  • kid drives pretty good.

  • Is it a good car

  • wooo... you went through .25 inches deep of water way to go

  • @unstopablenavyseal ha thats funny

  • Is all of the metal rust-proof?

  • @yabbahooga Yep

  • @blab8811 no unless its stainless and it isnt

  • @blab8811 no it isnt. make sure you go through and dry everything or the bearings will rust and seize.

  • @blab8811 you liar lol. the metal is not at all rust proof. Plus if you don't open, clean, and re-oil your bearings, you're screwed

  • @blab8811 Ehm no it is not rust proof!

You better clean it after use like this.

  • @blab8811 nope

  • @blab8811 no it isn't all metal parts begins to rust after a few hours.....

  • @blab8811 no

  • @blab8811 no

  • @blab8811 not all metals are waterproof

  • @blab8811

  • @blab8811 that's not true!

  • @blab8811 no its not only stainless is rust proof

  • @yabbahooga no its not,

  • @yabbahooga the screws can rust just as well as the bearings but bearings must be replaced anyway so whatever

  • @yabbahooga No the screws will rust. I run mine in the snow and I even have some rust on the tire rods.

  • @yabbahooga shush it freak

  • @yabbahooga No. Nor are the bearings.

  • @yabbahooga not at all you have to dry it completely after running it in water

  • It may not be 100% waterproof perhaps but it's a great video to show the rc car.

  • Believe this GUY

i dont know about the XL-5 system

but i got a 4x4 stampede with a VXL system and its is 100% waterproof

  • dont belleve this guy i have the stampede xl-5 the brush motor was shot from driving in the water and plus i new it was shot beacus i saw a spark and i new it was bad so yeah i woudent try driving in the water or else youl have ur moter broken

  • Great video, I loved it!

  • look at the fucked up retard holdin the remote like a fuckin retard omg lol jk but hot the remote normally and get a jato 3.3

  • you sound like a scottish retard with the dog named lassie

  • wierd way to hold the controller

  • Your drive goofy style:P

  • That does not proff anything! I've had my TT-01 in deeper water without any mods and still working.

  • i would of laghed so hard if when he whent on to the road that a car just ran it over that would be funny

  • too much sand n shit gets in the motor n itll lock up. its fucking aggrivating

  • u suck at driving and whoooo

    get i z's

  • i just red all thes comments yes you can pop a wheelies on the stanpede it dont have to be a vxl min ant but you do suck at driving and y dont you go all the way in the big puddle

  • im a redneck but i would jump that dich of water

  • Never seen anyone hold the remote like that and i think your forgetting that if this is stock it gas steel barrings

  • @traxxas84 i couldnt agree more

  • not to be rude but you are a really bad driver but i assume you are a newbie at the sport

  • @xtmracing14 this was last year and it was my first real RC car... and im not a bad drive why do u say that

  • @blab8811 well your controller driving is a little "special" and you were just crusing thru puddles you should be able to do some wheelies with it atleast

  • @xtmracing14 what do u mean special? And i was trying to show that its water proof and nothing else. I cant pop a wheelie since it isnt a VXL and its wet outside.

  • @blab8811 well if you want to "prove": its waterproof you need to take it underwater

  • @xtmracing14 maybe you should stop hating on me when you only have 87 views on all your videos. This one vid alone has 80 times all your total views. Go troll on someone elses comments.

  • @blab8811 FIRST RC CAR? I got mine for Christmas but all i got was a fastlane R/C SHITBOX! It's TOP speed is like MAYBE 5 MPH!UR SOOOO MUCH MORE FUCKIN' LUCKY THAN I AM.

  • @ILikeFryz Its not my first RC car... and i bought it with my own money im not lucky

  • why not learn how to hold the remote and how to drive

  • @fierman666 why not learn to have only 400 views on your YouTube and upload more than one vid?

  • make sure you plug the holes in teh wheel. i made that mistake D: cuz i was so excited to run it . lol

  • @34kevin34 oh lol god idea but i have just always squeezed out the water. ha

  • @blab8811 but still. i squeezed it out at first and it was unbalanced so i took the wheel off and i squeezed the foam and a lot more water came out.

  • @34kevin34 alright thanks for the suggestion :)

  • Never knew u had to hold your control a certain type of way, nice vid tho

  • u hold the remote like a retard. and this is electric not nitro!

  • @ACOGInterventioN who said it was a nitro? and i can hold the remote however i want to thank you very much

  • lul ur gonna break ur antenna holding it like that

  • you get an F for driving and holding the remote

  • @TheCustom35 why is it so bad to hold it that way

  • @blab8811 it looks like youre tryin to cover up your boner lmao

  • @slashbasher96 lmao

  • because you put the left hand on the handle i think and put the right hand on the wheel because it's the easier way to drive it

  • you can't hold the remote like that

  • why not

  • faster sorry. not fater

  • ya im saving up for it right now

  • shoulda got the VXL brushless version. way fater and way more power
