Got it...Use the brush tool to paint your mask in. Stroke is useless on the mask layer. Don't use any stroke because it won't make a mask. Use the paint brush and lower the Alpha so you can see what you're painting. Touch up with the eraser tool. Then adjust your alpha setting on your mask layer to whatever looks best. Works great! Video is way out of sync with audio causes confusion at around 7:30. Took me hours to figure this one out, but it is a great effect.
When I first saw this video I thought it was cool. After trying it I realize it doesn't work. He leaves out too many details....Worthless. 1 Star for huge waste of time.

I am trying to put a glint or light reflecting off a car in motion. When I choose mask on the layer want the reflection it locks that layer and the light layer it is masked with. The problem is I can still see the light layer. Please Help!!!!!!
