  • you are good we are trying to learn this song on piano your tutorial is better then any i have seen its just hard to do the two hands lol but pratice makes perfect right

  • this is unbelievable!!!!!

    you are playing so good!!!!!!!

  • I love how you started with a million plus views for part one, and then part two has about 75% less views because everyone chickened out, bahaha.

Cheers to us brave piano lovers!!!

  • you make the best tutorial piano thank you so much maesstro!!

  • Thank you so much !!!!!!!

I can play it now <3

    Excelent tutorial :)

  • the bridge and everything after it confuses me haha but the intro is awesome... i cant even play piano and im pretty good at it =D

  • Please make your own sheet music..Your tutorials are great..But they're so confusing..I got the basic part of this song down...Its the bridge,bridge-to-chorus, and the chorus that I'm stuck on..

  • So far I have learned everything until it gets to the part you "don't know how to teach". Ironically, this is the part I just cant seem to learn. Is there any possible way you could create another video focusing on this part? Please try to take it at a slower pace and do step by step since it is pretty hard. Please I love this song and want to know all of it!! Thanks! :)

  • can make your own sheet music i have some problems on the 2:00 :/

  • perfect , go ahead guy!!!

  • I cannot do this at all.

  • muchas gracias, aunque no entendí mucho, voy a practicarlo, haces´parecer tan facil, eres muy buen profesor, y esucharte interpretar me emociono hasta las lagrimas...gracias

  • You Are A Good Teacher

  • it took me about 2 hours to learn the verse, bridge to the chorus and chorus itself. then you start playing the bridge and i'm like 'f***'.

  • tnx for your amazing lessons mate, i appreaciate now i can play this on my Piano and its all thnaks to you!

  • i've always thought that learning a song in piano is hard just watching the tutorials butt i always get to the conclusion that when i practice it is not that hard and now i think that in these song is hard to play the piano but im going to finish with the same conlusion as the others that is not hard once i practice it

oh and Lucentino i admire the way you play the piano nice :)

  • dude! u just dint teach the bridge properly!! ahh.. struggling hard to see what chords ur playing during the bridge! :(

  • nowhere near being able to play the melody with it. One day, tho. It will happen. So, thanks again :) You are insanely skilled, sir

  • King Luc, just want you to know that I picked My Immortal to be my first song to learn on piano, and after looking at a bunch of sheet music that was wrong, I started searching youtube tutorials and came across your ridiculously advanced version. It was by far my favorite, and was immensely helpful in learning what's played in the actual song. I love all of the extra arpeggios you threw in and will be constantly working on them as I get better. I have the left hand chorus part down, but am

  • Only 1 in 7 viewers went on to the second video. Glad to be one of them :)

  • I'm getting depressive... fucking Bridge. I'll neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeveer reach that... :(

  • Dude really impressive :) nice tutorial , and easy to pick :) Nothing great than the sound from Piano and a acoustic guitar ...

  • If this were a piano grading what level would it roughly be at? Grade 2 Grade 3?

  • I have only one word: WOW.

Guy, you are amazing! Thanks for this :D

  • Comment removed

  • If you check the piano sheets there are a couple of added noted which he is playing but hasn't said he is playing.

  • Great video, nice playing! Thank you

  • when you play the chorus and you add in the notes c# d e then c# and e what notes do you play them with ? thats probably makes no sense at all but if you work out what i mean please let me know thanks

  • i wish all cameras were showing pianos at this angle, it's so easy to learn

  • You are AMAZING. marry me ^_^. Seriously thanks for this... You are very good. :)

  • youre a boss teacher and you play like a champ

  • great tutorials! You play really good and your videos are very well explained! keep it up!!!

  • wow thank you so much!

  • Voilà un bon tuto qui pète sa mère. Good job, and thank's!

  • Dang, i'm having trouble with the timing of the hands on the chorus. Any advice anyone?

  • @Masterajax74 Slow IT down and breake it down

  • good tutorial took me 20min to learn the song great vid thanks

  • I almost cried when he said: "I don't know how to teach the bridge"

  • 1:55 to all you haters,..

  • you're great! :) I've spent the last three days and conquered the ballad, the bridge to the chorus and the chorus! Time to finish what you've started! Thanks again! I'm definately subscribing!

  • man your great but sucks to learn it its so hard song :/

  • i wont give up until i learn to play this song like you :D

  • I'm bloody subscribing now OMG that was flipping awesome :) :) :) :) :) :) :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

  • Yeah!

  • Thank you Kyle! I've always wanted to learn how to play this song and you've helped a lot. I think it would be very helpful to play it MUCH slower with two hands (maybe half speed or 50 BPM or so) so that the timing between the left and right was clearer, especially during the chorus and bridge. But I don't want to sound unappreciative, I love your tutorials! (BTW I used your tutorial to learn Faithfully as well. It was dead on!)

  • i love your tutorial its realy perfect

  • i wish i cuold see what ua re doing with ur left hand

  • Great tutorial man! some parts were a little harder than others but only playing piano for about a week and able to play this song through feels pretty good. Props to you man!! You should make one for Hello by Evanescence.! Thumbs up!!

  • Wow u r amazing. Ur videos r so easy to learn from. U should create more. U r very talented. Thank u so much :)

  • Wow. U r an excellent person for creating such amazing videos. It is so easy to learn from your steps. Thank u so much :))

  • god.......i love you ...................

  • Thank you very much for uploading this video!I learned a lot!

  • i learned it in 4 days :D both tutorial 1 and 2 :D hehehe thanks u r awsomeee dude :D!!

  • my hands are kinda small so i had to cut some of the long chords and mae them shorter but i can play the whole song THANKS SOOO MUCH !! ill post a video response later :D

  • if ur watching this video its because u r strong and havent given up yet :D WOOT to us!!

  • It's not too hard if you have the patience to work it out and even some experience with playing similar melodies. Some appregio work definitely helps. Great tutorial, I really appreciate it.

  • I'm never going to get this down :( it's so fancy and I'm so amateur! I admire you big time

  • so far ive spent a year on this video. i would work on it and succeed but then i get to the next part and im like "nooo way". but i end up going back and im planning on finnishing through.

  • I too have been muddling away through video one...fairly well. Learning the run of the chords is TOUGH for this old bird with NO experience!!!

  • it took me awhile, but i figured it out. i had to wing it when it came to the bridge but it turned out pretty good. thanks a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome job. It's been hella-difficult learning, and extended-chords are still my arch-nemesis, but they are a lot less scary now. Came hear to learn it for a friend, and ended up finding what may be my favorite song to play :) Thank-you

  • I had no idea this song would be so difficult!! Ive been playing stringed instruments for almost a decade and decided to try something different, to expand myself. Lol im self taught and dont have my own keyboard but your videos are extremely helpful! As soon as I can learn the chorus and the bridge I'll be posting a video so you can see the fruits of your labor :)

  • This is a wonderful video. My friend Is teaching me the song though, she learnt by ear and has an easier version. I came looking for the bridge but it's complicated the way you do it lol so I'll wait for her. I find it is much easier to learn by seeing it in real life, and to try it and have her correct me on what I'm doing wrong. But I played along with you for the first video lol

  • Man, thanks for helping get to where I am in playing this song. Very helpful. Thanks! :D

  • im learning this for a ''friend''

  • Kinda funny that 4 years ago i started play piano (Self-taught) and I wans't able to play by ear My Immortal...then 3 years ago you posted this wonderful tutorial I saw for the first time only a couple of days ago.

I have to thank you very much, finally I can play it! I don't know when I'll be able to record a video response (my bad camera, university duties...) but you surely deserve my thanks for the tutorial, you are a great teacher you know? XD

I hope you continue to play and make tutorials!

  • For everyone on here complaining about the bridge section

its best to follow along with your own keyboard or piano

it realy is rather simple except for a few changes once you get the pattern down .... nobody said amy lee's music was going to be easy

  • Thankk Youu Sooo Muchhh !!!! It took me a while to figure it all out,, But now I'm so happy i didn't give up !! This is an AMAZING song !! And I have to thank Youuu Because now I can play It !! I LOVE YOU !!

  • Came here to learn the bridge, i didn't learn anything, come on man ... --'

  • B-E-A-UTIFUL MAN!!!

  • I loooovvveee how you play this!!!Ive played all my songs by ear,but how u play this, made me want to learn it your way too.So i tried but not only do i just play piano, but i also sing (while playing) but i cant figure out how to sing with the part that starts out "these wounds wont seem to heal--" maybe you can help?Thank you!!!

  • hey! i really dont understan the second part is too fast, but i like a lot the first one, i really appreciate if you could explain me the second part

  • thank you for this tutorial! after 4 days of continuous practice, I almost got the entire piece but still needs a lot of improvement. Thank you very much :D

  • I loved it ,,,, I just can't thank you enough ,,,,

  • finally! after 6 months i can finally play this! thanks so much for this tutorial! its awesome :D

  • @alrikkinakz09

Yup. I was you for a while too. But you just need to train your hands a little (learn a few other songs which require fast moving of left hand) and you'll learn it really fast.

  • i'll guess.. the part 1 gained a million views but this one doesn't, maybe because they already gave up from learning this song... because for me.. it's quite difficult... and maybe there are lots of ME.. xD

  • thank you sir, its been very helpful.

  • I really like this version of the piano for this song. There was only one part liked better in the original and that was the end when it went up an octave. Other than that, I liked this way better than the original piano part. I liked it so much I decided to enter into my school's talent show with it. Thank you so much for making this version. :)

  • I really like this version of the piano for this song. There was only one part liked better in the original and that was the end when it went up an octave. Other than that, I really liked this way so much better. I liked it so much I decided to do it for my school's talent show. Thank you so much for creating this version, I think it made the song that much better. :)

  • Very helpful along with the other tutorial. I can't play it as well as you though, 'cause you totally rock!!!! But THANKS A LOT :)

    obrigado thank you!!!!

  • Very nice - i will give you a video responds as soon as i get the last part :-)

    Thank buddy!

  • Woah , I found this by accident , and it's amazing , you're very good pianist , I'm sure that's a lot of practise , it takes time for me to play it like you do , so I work every day on it , you should do more tutorials :) and by de way ,don't worry about losing the count , haha that happens a lot speacially when you play without being payed . C ya.

  • @66D5AVWP merci je vais faire comme ça ;) Mdrr

  • it helped me a lot. thanks=)

    Merci =P Très bon morceau !!! J'AIME (y) !

  • 30 people only play guitar...

  • Its so sad that Part One has 1 million views, and this one only has 100 thousand! That means so many people have given up on learning a very beautiful piece :( Great tutorial, thankyou!!! <3

  • @pureawesomeness99

No it just means it takes > 2 years to learn.....

  • @pureawesomeness99 no it's because even part 1 is so hard to learn. Some people doesn't know there is part 2. I am on part 2 by the way.

  • Thanks for the tutorial!

It helped me so much :D Thanks to this, i was able to learn it, quite accettable. However it is true, that sometimes you explain sth in a diffenert way, than u play...:S, but if i give more time to watch the "whole song" again and again and again, i can see the correct order of the notes. And maybe a time'll come, when my play'll be as perfect as yours! :D

  • 8.47 - best part, its make my cry, thank you so much!!!

  • ...oh my gosh..! how's the chorus??

  • i Found this shit you didnt even say the notes that needed to be played and i couldnt see the keys because your hand was covering them

  • @n4gyals He said at the beginning that he didn't know how to teach it so he would just play it...plus how else can you play piano without covering the notes?!

  • well done,

but just slow down with chorus for explanation, so we can figure out how to time left and right hand together...

    ...awesome job !

  • everytime you play it, you play it on an otherwhise then you explain it -.-

  • i like how u play the piano

  • Thanks for the tutorial :)

  • SLOW THE FUCK DOWN!

  • Can't figure out the bridge...

  • @SweSmiile

make sure u got the pattern of the bridge, then u get through easily....helped me a lot to find out the pattern

  • You are a fantastic piano player. I really hope I get this good someday. I honestly thought this would be easy and boy was I wrong. Do you have any advice?

  • Very good, but this tutorial is not my level

  • A very good tutourial - but for people that don't really play piano, not so good... You should say each note as you go.

    Very well performed.

  • @MigetMolly95 no logic there.

  • @DJShadowAndTheKnife

there is, if you don't understand it then thats not my fault xx

  • awsome man tkns for the vidio!!!!

  • awsome man...i really like it so much tnks for the tuto u play the piano so awsome...

  • Keep trying at the bridge. You'll get it. I did. A good way is to learn the root notes with the left hand and make your own variations with it. King did help me learn even though he thought he couldn't teach it.

  • Great job on everything, but how about slowing down on the bridge and taking it one hand at a time? I can't really see the keys you're playing because your hands are in the way anyway; especially when you fly through it.

You're great, and I got the whole rest of the song, but you need to work on teaching the bridge a bit better.

  • funny that part 1 has a million more views

  • Around what Grade is this piece??

  • Oh my goodness, not tooo many people take the time to put together a tutorial like this to help other people out. Thank you soo much. I'm just starting to play the piano, and I can read sheet music and everything from being in band and all , but because of you I'm learning this piece pretty quickly. I have a few parts down and still working on it. Bilut thanks soo much n e wys :)

  • grazie mi sei stato utilissimo :D

  • just got a keyboard for christmas yesterday and I decided to learn this song to start with. its a little bit challenging, but the tutorial really helped! (I don't have any sheet music for it)

  • son super estas instrucciones, pero seria mejor saberlas tocar.

¡¡¡¡¡¡¡que envidia¡¡¡¡¡¡, que bueno por los que si saben tocar el piano.

algun dia yo podre hacerlo, ya veran.

  • i rekon that you should have explained the bridge and the piano solo out a bit more...im having alot of difficulties... =[ mabey your rushing this video a little .

    but well done =|

  • @Friedpicklessmellbad y thats what i think too need so many stops ok its a free lesson so i dont wanna do any negativ things on that ^^ because people dont need to make those tutorials so im happy to find just less they are good like that ;) ofc he could do it better but be happy of that what u got ;)

at least the part 1 of this song is shown good

  • This is definitely going to take a long time to learn but at least I understand more than sheet music...which I can't understand. I learned the very first part a few months ago but never went anywhere from there but now I'm playing constantly again so I'm wanting to try again. ^-^

  • Hey does anyone have a clue how to make your left hand play like your right hand? I am right handed and everytime I warm up and play my left hand starts to hurt. Is it posture or what? Anybody know? Thanks.

I should mention I train my left hand with arpeggios. Is that what you are supposed to do??

  • @EvanesEmperor me being a peraon who is both a lefty and righty, I've never had this type of trouble. My best advice is to just train your left hand and practice with it more often than your right hand. It may take a while, so don't be dissapointed if you don't get immediate results. Good luck ^^

  • So killer! \m/

  • Nice tutorial, little short but it's fine since most people probably don't need more detailed help.

The thing i miss though, like in almost all tuts, is hand placement tips and stuff like that.

  • oh my God this really helps. thank you!!! :D I hope I can play this song soon and upload a video response for you :D

  • you inspire me, i love you.

  • Nice

  • ,.toink! your so amazing! but too good for me to understand this part :( huhu...

  • u are amazing! THANK YOU!!!

  • wow you're really good. how did you learn that? do you have notes? WHEN can you send me these please? how long are you playing?

  • I'm currently in grade 10 , and quit piano lessons in grade 7 (I began in grade1). Recently I've gotten the desire to start playing again, but now I realize why I was never very successful, and why I hated conventional lessons. I learn best by seeing and hearing, though I have a basic knowledge of notes. I find that it's easier to apply notes after I learn a piece, and though I'm not reading the notes I like to have the music in front of me. Wierd, huh?

  • @SaveTheEarth552 Is there really such a thing as Grade 10? 'Cause I know people that have done Grade 8 and done Music Diplomas in Piano and they couldn't go any higher? I'm just wondering because being Grade 10, you must be like Mozart or something!

  • @rockybabiix Haha sorry I should have been more specific, I meant Grade ten as in high school :)

  • @SaveTheEarth552 no, not weird at all, i too played piano for 8 years and then quit, didnt play piano for a year and now came back to it

also, i learn songs from Youtube like 5 times faster than i did from my teacher, owing to ppl like KingLucentio

  • @SaveTheEarth552 lol im in the same position. ive started playing again cuz of this man.

  • Thank you! What a great Teacher you are. I wish you would also teach "I can't make you Love me" by Bonnie Raitt. you go slow enough for me to actually learn, thank you fro sharing your gift.

  • This tutorial is really good and useful! But, it'd be awesome if you could go over the bridge slowly with hands seperate! :)

  • HUHUHU... I JUST LOVE IT!!!

  • i can play better though i am three months away from becoming 13,i started playing when i was 9

  • hey your great , can u send me the notes :))))))pls....

  • Yay! I can play it now, thank you so much!! I will post a video response as soon I buy a piano cause currently I only have an electronic keyboard :S

  • The best song played on piano!

  • I can't wait to learn it!! thank you for making this sooo much)

    yay for Evanescence XD

  • Thanks ur other vid really helped me but wheres the tuturial for the chorus?

  • @xSpeeedyCrayon The first videooo.

  • excelent! thanks! muy buena expliacion...

  • excelent! thanks!

  • Great tutorial, but you're proceding to the next part way too fast!

How I am supposed to know how the two hands come together?

You need to take it way slower! Maybe you could also put the notes in the video?

    Thanks!

  • i love u

  • WN SEKO ¡¡

  • I did a version of this song. feel free to comment and rate it.. you can check my videos and subscribe as well. I'm just starting though. Thank you.

  • This tutorial is perffect for people like me that can play piano but do not read music! Very usefull, easy to understand. I feel very happy cause I found this tutorial by accident and started playing piano againg afer 4 years! I´m not a good pianist as you are, but you give inspiration! Thank you very much!

  • @anamu88

omg samee ! i can't read music but i'm good at piano :P

  • @anamu88

Great, but how can a pianist don't know how to read music??

  • @AppLeo1990 ^.^ Well, I like music, I can play couple instruments, (percusion and piano), I think I just have good ear, but I´m still not really good, I´m not a musician, I just like to pretend to be one :P
