  • Oh... i got it you should replace the yellow ones with blue ones right ?!?!?!? not a terrible teacher but a terrible student :(

  • I didnt get at least ONE word of this!!!!!!

  • you would make a terrible teacher. sorry. Try this tutorial everybody: /watch?v=xT2UBYhX5uM

  • I haven't slept in 27 and a half hours. I'm surprised my brain can handle all this information right now.

  • I'm Asian I don't know it...

  • I don't know what your problem is, I understood it quite well. If you don't have anything about the cube, try to solve it in under 30 sec (maybe you could learn a little bit of PLL) and then come back and you'll understand

  • your rubiks is dead

  • why is your rubiks cube lompy?

  • you talk quite fast...

  • we humans find it hard to solve your method technology

  • I stopped watching cause I was lost at like 2 minutes in lol

  • 1:12 makes no sense to me at all. Maybe because I'm tired but I've watched it over and over again but it's still confused me by you saying that you can't have the U/D layer in the two north and south spots (on the the L/R faces) I understood that but you threw me completely when you pointed to the edge that was on the left because that edge wasn't even part of the U/D layer????

    help???

  • @MrXenitha What he means is that if you have a piece that has a U/D sticker on eiither the U or the D face, that sticker has to be facing up or down. Let´s say you solve it with white on top and red in front; if the yellow/green piece is on the U/D layer, the yellow sticker would have to be facing U/D. There are also some more things you have to look at, and theyre actually not quite difficult, it took me 20 minutes to remember those small rules.

  • @willcubeforfood Ok thanks :)!

  • @MrXenitha If you need any help message me or friend me. Btw check macky´s site on blindfold cubing, it is great!

  • kinda good to no im pretty good at solving but if yu want to know the cube well yu should learn this thanks thrawst:)

  • you are missing an "x2" at the end of the algorithm for "2 Corners" in your description.

  • You have the rare art of making easy things complicated, my friend.

  • I GIVE UP! I'll just stick with normal solving and will try to get my speed to about 25seconds by learning a few more OLLs and mastering the rest of the PLLs I haven't mastered yet. I don't have the kind of time anymore to spend so much time "practicing" blindsolving. Gotta get ready to apply for grad school!

  • I didnt understand a thing man

  • and after finally getting really good at solving the cube i thought it shouldnt be too much harder doing it blindfolded with algarythyms but boy was I wrong.

  • i know how to solve a rubiks cube but this guy makes no fucking sense

  • @disgamecosmo blindfolded solving should be only for advanced cube solvers.... I used to be fast at solving the cube but have lost some speed. I now think it is time I step it up and solve it blindfolded!

  • either you have a sucky camera, or your nick name is flash...

  • can i just memorize f2l? i know f2l by heart so you think it could help? please reply!

  • I hope that this helps me! I really want to learn to solve the rubiks cube blindfolded! I tried the other method that moves just one cube at a time. that did not work for me! I am now trying this. Hope it works.

  • I GIVE UP U MAKE NO SENSE!!!!

  • immm blaankkkk what to do to complete my rubiks with BFD >,<

  • It all makes no sense to me at all. I guess that I wil just have to give up on solving a cube blindfolded.

  • I am a bit confused about where the U/D colours can be. To clear things up, can U/D layer colours be in the R/L middle layer?

  • SO much remembering.

  • LOL

  • 5 words for you...i do not get it

  • @boneshoes if you don't want to learn, leave

  • the corner or edge cycle solves 2/3 pieces most of the time right?

  • from 1:15 to 1:30

is this a helicopter voice in the background?

  • Is it me or do this guys tutorials suck?

  • @MrJeffreyDude

    It's you.

  • #LOL

  • dude you talk way too fast, and then i only understand 50% of your words...

  • i don't understand those 'little' rules

  • not to be a whiner, but i think it'd be helpful also if you didn't show certain steps in the ungodly fast motion lol just saying. Kinda threw me off

  • When you do the 3-corner cycle clockwise, try to do the first U with your left pointer finger. I saw Feliks do it. Just trying to help you out. :)

  • How the fuck... seriously.

  • what if someone just switches my rubiks cube while im blindfolded to a cube with no stickers?

  • Comment removed

  • Star wars fans would do Right Right Down Down

    Yeah, I went there

  • @12MonthsTilJune #LOL I just got that!

  • @12MonthsTilJune aha just got that R2D2 haha it got me a little bit confused, nice one =)

  • ?????????????????????

  • *subscribes*

  • Woah at :37.

  • at 1:20 the green and orange is unoriented,u just sayd the white and yellow could not be there but the orange and green was there and its still unoriented?

  • you scruw me up in this, i think i will stay with the faster solving =P

  • i am thinking that this video should help my sighted solve even if i can't do it blind folded but i believe i will get it eventually

  • a faster algorithm for the z permutation is M2 U M2 U M U2 M2 U2 M U2.

  • @7poppasmurf7 i find a M' to be faster (middle layer away from you)

  • i really really really didnt get a single word of this

  • For the rules at the beginning, does that refer only to edges? Or corners as well? Thanks.

  • 6:01 You incorrectly wrote the algorithm on the screen

  • Look a bird!

  • what the heck is the pacman method? are u suppose to make the yellow ones attack the blue ghost ones?

  • @bwareofdoggie its pochmann

  • @bwareofdoggie yes you have to set the blue on fire

  • @bwareofdoggie pochman

  • @bwareofdoggie It's the POCHMANN method. Not the PACMAN method.

  • well i didn't undersand a thing

  • it almost like beginers method for the corners

  • Is M supposed to be l?

  • um i think m' is the same as r and l'

  • holy crap you are fast man.

  • Ok dude no offence but ryt over my head

  • Very good tutorial man.

Is there a name for this method?

  • what is this method called?

  • notation correction @5:59 :

    (r'd'rd)*2 u2 (d'r'dr)*2 u2

  • but i still dont get it, if you cant look at the pieces after oriented then how do you know what PLL you should do?

  • even mine 0_o

  • u have to already no alot about the cube before trying to blindsolve

  • omfg i cant understand a freaking thing of the tutorial

  • @sssammy6

I understand it.. but I've been cubing for 6+ years, so I already know everything.. :p

  • I lubricated a 2 cm cube and it turn epic

  • @iNils1 My cube is pretty well lubricated, but doesn't turn nearly as fast as this one. Maybe i should spray the silicone spray for 5 minutes strait into it..

  • @falloffboy123 Im not sure that would be a good idea.

  • @JulianIsTechnology lol ya cus i would run out of Silicone..

  • @falloffboy123 it's not always about lubricating you have to practice to turn it fast.

  • u can do the z and the cross thingy with the 3 edge cycle jsut do it then do a U' or a U something like tht and u got it :P

  • do the same rules apply for corner orentation? and how can i tell when i need to use CW or CCW?

  • blindfolded??

  • LLLOOOSSSTTTT!!!!!

  • My head hurts 0_o

  • lol H perm? xD

  • actually M goes in the same direction of L

  • So mello goes in the same direction as L??

lol sorry i had to...if u dont know what im talking about, its about death note. the anime.

  • XD

I could never remember if it followed the L or R side, but I will never forget it now thanks to you.

  • where did you get those algorithms???on cubefreak??

  • I dont get it in the first two rules.

where sre the peaces supposed to go?

    HELP ME SOME ONE. PLZ

  • the front and back colors can ONLY be on the front and back and the other i forgot

  • OK. Thanks anyways. I watched the exsample and i under stand it now xD

  • can you post in the description the rules of oriented edges...

i dont get the second part...

you say you can have yellow or white on the side...so green red corner is unoriented?

    thanks

  • at 4:40 in that time area were you explain twisting the corners they each get twisted in their own direction because we all know you can turn two corners CCW or CW

  • lol how do you get your cube hella fast like that? o_O

  • awesome vid, really is helping

  • could you at least show us the algorithm while you solve the cube cus its really difficult and confusing to memorize it if you scatter it around the video

  • mistake at 6:06??

    supposed to be [R'D'RD] x2 U2 [D'R'DR] x2 U2?

correct me if im wrong.. ==

  • great tutorial

  • Thank You !!! God Bless You Thrawst for your Good Work !!!

  • You earn 2 pts

  • how much the cube cost??

  • where do you buy the cube??

  • i bought it in a toy store. otherwise i´d try to find something in the internet

  • thank you soooo much!!! I'm gonna freak out my friends cus they are tired of me solving it regularly lol.

  • haha me too they get mad when i pull out my rubik's cube

  • I think you did a good job teaching in your video.

  • jese he is crap at explaining things

  • Yes! I was like uh ok. I can solve one the reg way but could not follow this. He seems to be pretty dang smart though. I was impressed but I wish he explained more clearly.

  • can u make it slower...because u show it to us..it's hard...

  • too hard :'(

  • Lmao

  • How are you supposed to know which algorithm to do if you're blindfolded?

  • with memorisation u obviously are able to know which pieces are at which spot in every moment

  • You need to MEMORIZE the cube, memorize where pieces are and how they need to be oriented.

    How obvious!

  • skill =p

  • you have to study the cube before you blindfold yourself

  • @Trancher73193 but in part 1, he said you can solve 1 blindfolded even if you don't know how to solve it

  • i meant loose :D

  • ur cube is really lose!

  • P.S By individually, I mean using the most basic permutation cycles and the alg that orients just 2 edges, It'd probably help me with conjugation for awkward parity anyway.

  • Although I haven't memorised the orientation and permutation of the corners and edges on my cube I can still work on just orienting/permuting each piece individually (without a blindfold) and before I work on memorising; I just want to make sure I can understand the method. The actual memorisation I will have to train for as I'm not sure if I'm capable of holding all 40 pieces of information for 20 minutes - I just assume it will take me 20-30 minutes on my 1st attempt 'cause I'm slow. :P

  • so you use kinda beginners method or pogobat method in blindfolding it might be easier right

  • 200th rating woohoo 5/5

  • Could you please explain how to actually memorize where the pieces go after your first algorithm? Eg: I remember all the algor's but after I do 3 of them, I'm stuck....explain more? Thanks good job :) it's hard to explain how to solve rubik's, I can solve 3x3 normally in roughly 50 secs...i guess i'm okay :)

  • Did you make a mistake? Because at 1:14 you said you can have a top or bottom color on the top and bottom edges of the R or L side, but you can't have them on the right of left edges of the R or L side. But, you pointed to a green, which WASN'T on the top or bottom, and from what you were saying it was oriented, but you said it wasn't. So I'm wondering, did you get the rule wrong, or the word wrong.

  • i finaly understand how to do this!!!!!!!!!! i just cant memorize all the pieces, but i will try

    thank you thrawst

  • Ok, here are some tips. I need help with this too, but I learned some ways. 1. You can memorize all the pieces in letters, or numbers, like he said in his first video. If you were doing it in letters, make up that four letter word, and then say the 4 digit number, and remember that as a layer. With whether it's oriented or not, I'm coming up with a way to do that :)

  • Im not smart enough for all this lol

  • super confusing....

  • is there a war to just move it and eventually it is fixed?

  • That cube was poppin' and lockin'... i would have dropped it

    XD

  • its easier to move the corners counter clockwise by doing: R2 B2 R F R' B2 R F' R in my opinion

  • This is where my laziness for memorization fails me T . T

  • Aaaahaah my brraaaaaain!

  • lol this is my 3rd time wtching this and iv goten the Y,T and E down plus all the edges and corners

  • If you learn the fridrich method, you need to learn all of those parity algs to complete the fridrich method.

  • i dont get it

  • soooo to solve it you need to mesmerize where the pieces are and just do the algorithms to flip them the right way or put them in t5he right place

  • idk wtf goin on but it look raw as hell lol

  • on the last corner permutation, you forgot the R2 after D'. I was wondering why it wasn't working for me :P

  • For those of you having a hard time understanding this, I would suggest looking into the Pochmann method. The Pochmann method basically moves one piece to its proper place at a time, all from the same position. There are only 5 total algorithms, and all are easy to learn. It is a slower method than even the beginner method, (It takes me currently about 2 minutes to solve), but it can be used blindfolded. Basically all you have to do is memorize the order of the pieces to move.

  • true dat, i always try to teach the faster and generally more confusing methods.

  • @Thrawst You should say: Warning, this method is advanced (or intermediate)

  • You need to slow down on the algorithms. You solve it too fast. You should show the solve from beginning to end in addition to giving a link.

  • isn't the corner orientation also the one used for the beginner layer by layer method

  • This is the 3OP method right?

  • with corner orientations, how about the petrus corner flip L' U2 L U L' U L' R U2 R' U' R U' R'

  • You can do the opposite too, which is Sune and then the Sune mirror :D

  • I dont get this...

    lol

  • not me eather cuzz is the orientation just likke oll that u wanna get all of the peaces to the "right side" and then put them as pll in the right spot?

  • my brain hurts.....

  • is this even supposed to be a damn tutorial??

  • i agree. he isnt really teaching anything

  • i dont understand the restrictions cuz when u think about it, R is just L by doing a y2.. with cube rotations.. any turn could be anything..

  • u use to many big words other then that its ayt

  • bad video..i don't like the way you explain..it sucks..

  • bad ass video thank you
