I really liked the comment about 'how does what you do now, related to what you will do then (maintenance)?' We get so focused on just get the weight off NOW, not how can I sustain this the rest of my life? Interesting.
You look GREAT TIM...thats another bit of something we have to deal with. Before? If I lost weight? If someone told me I looked good? Id go celebrate with something totally sinful & delicious & absolutely no good for me. Then Id be sick with disgust, get depressed & sleep for 2 days. Im past that, I DO like to hear or have people tell me they now see a difference in me & I thank them & then I thank GOD cause HE is in control cause obviously Id party with cheese cake IF I was in control!
I dont count calories. Ive got to fool myself on a daily basis LOL Im eating off of a smaller plate and trying not to have seconds. Eating jello between meals. Cutting out anything white - breads & Rice etc. Eating HALF of what ever I used to eat. Drinking a lot of water which I like now. I now LOVE walking. If I go out with the family to eat? I order sensibly & dont say "Since Im out I will order something I dont normally have" WE cant do that! WE are changing our lives. God Bless Ya Tim
Tim, you are such an inspiration to me and so many others. The BEST tip you ever gave me and I stand by is the 1Corinthians 6:20 and Ive gotten rid of 55 pounds! Im at a stand still with losing. Im actually walking MORE but just not losing. If you think of it please say a prayer for me, I need to lose 35 more pounds but I only set 2 pound goals, anything higher is like setting yourself up to fail. My Dr. is so pleased. Diabetes is in check and I have to give the glory to God and thank YOU! Gail♥
