Far out, the huge speed from the rapid descent meant that the recovery to level out and climb away was yet another 9G pull as well. Just passing out from 9G then having to take yet another 9G to save yourself, pretty crazy stuff.

He's not dying. He can't breath because of G-force. You can see the G-force level on top the left. He struggles with approx 9 G-force.

Not sure what you are saying, but G-loc occurs while maneuvering. Another fun fact G-loc is a misnomer, "gravity induced loss of conciousness" has nothing to do with gravity. It is due to the centripetal acceleration (turning acceleration) measured in multiples of the magnitude of acceleration due to the force of Gravity...

In some countries, times and places the laws do not permit the voices of pilots of military or commercial Airline aircraft without special permission. The video may have been cleared for public viewing without the audio. However often transcripts ( sometimes redacted) are released for public consumption. Often this is done for the pilot's confidentiality, censor foul language, ect.

Although the audio makes it "sound" less real, the fact is it's a moment in history that happened to a real pilot and his wingman. My squadron lost a bird and a pilot in a similiar situation. The privacy of the individual always comes first, however for public record, some material may be released. It is our duty to you, the taxpayer, but we protect the privacy of our own also. That's pretty much how it works.

no he got g-loc (loss of consciousness)because he pulled a maneuver causing the blood to be forced out of his brain. he regained consciousness just before hitting the ground. Those were stupid voice overlays though, they weren't real.

when it happens you have a lack of oxygen to the brain. once you wake up again you will be instantly alright and will remember whats going on, but you may not be able to do anything about it if a missiles still in the air :P . (see the video with an F-18 backseat rider.)

G-LOCing is one of the most (maybe the most) screwed things when flying a fighter. You suddenly sleep chasing a enemy plane or evading a missile, and you awake saying "where am i? why am i flying downwards? and why am i 200 feer above the ground?"
