it's probably because it's puffed up which makes them look fatter height wise to make them look bigger than they appear to enemies, predators, or a rival iguana...that and iguana's are very lethargic animals and eat alot. But also Reptiles in general look rather fat.
The iguana is trying to prove his dominance over the dog, that is why he didnt hurt the dog and he kept charging at the dog. He was basicly saying: Dog, hear me. This is my house..no, no, listen to what I say dog *bobs head* This is my house and you listen to me.
The head nodding is a show of aggression but I guess if the iguana actually wanted to inflict damage, if it thought it was in any real danger, it would tail whip your dog.
NOW for comment # 2,all i have to say is cut the jealousy out of ur system, reptiles have been here WAYYYYY before you and they will be her WAYYYYY after you, this iguanna is the greatest reptile you ever see, so instead of hating i suggest you sit and study our videos lol thanks,
First comment is for comment #1 yes your right about the suggestion towards other iguana owners, yes you should take extreme caution, BUT in this case you all should know that both Roxi & Alex are enjoying the play time they get! LOL
It was funny, but its also very dangerous for iguana to let it "play" with another pet. Its also dangerous for dog/cat, so i think that no one else should try it at home :P

might wanna do your math correctly.... 2010-1994 = 16 years...
16 years is their normal lifespan in captivity, although some can get to 20.
