@stoicfan Well, "r" is hard to pronounce for english speaking people but so is even for some Slovaks ; ) I think your pronounciation doesn't have to be perfect from the beginning. If you talk to some Slovak he/she will understand you. Don't be shy and tray to say it out loud, it helps... if you have any problems or you just want to practice Slovak don't hesitate and contact me : )

Unless of course you are an executive or work in industry. Slovakia is a very productive state with large corporations situated near its vast natural resources. The two biggest corporations I know of in the area I visits is ChemoSvit, Maytag and US Steel.

China has a great interest in Slovakia's natural resources.
