nobody respected each other more than paul, john and brian. geniuses all. beach boys were a great voice band, not a great musical band. brian's current band is a knock out. that's some complicated music they're playing and their voices are incredible. not all youtube videos are equal. watch other clips of this band. they are heavyweights in the business. the worst of the bunch was mike love. repetitive surf lyric writing hack. he thought he was the beach boys.

Please stop comparing the 2 bands, Yes if the SMiLE album had come out in 1967, it may have dethroned the Beatles slightly. They were both amazing and inventive bands, The Beach Boys just had a little bit less of an advantadge than the Beatles. After Brian failed to produce SMiLE, Capitol rejected some amazing shit from them (ie: Listen to the LANDLOCKED LP) The stuff on 20/20, Friends and Wild Honey should have been more accepted though. They are better discs than the beatles stuff at that time

The BEATLES STOLE this sound. When they heard the BB Pet Sounds they did Sergeant Pepper immediately after..btw, the BEATLES SUCKED!!!!! Beach Boys were from Southern California not the UK. Paul said himself Brian Wilson was a musical genius so they copied the BB Pet Sounds

all the beatles ever did was get american music and give it back to american audiences and the world in a more diluted and more easily digested form (i.e. a more commercial form) for the masses. first they did lame white bread versions of the early rock and roll classics. then they got all serious when they were influenced by dylan lyrically and musically experimental when they listened to pet sounds.

I'd post the web site URL here for you but youtube doesn't allow us to put URL's in our posts. Just use your search engine to find the WalMart site. Search on Music and subject Beach Boys. It says they have the DVD or CD.
