Had the timing been different, I would have repeated the shooting of this timelapse on March 11th, 2011, to try and catch the Japan Tsunami. On the outside of Vancouver Island today's tsunami at 0.5m was 4x bigger than the Chile tsunami. Although it still probably wouldn't have been detectable at my location.

Yeah, i don't think so, but nice try. That's what you call normal tidal action. The fraser has a dynamic and complex flow system.
