  • Two words:

    Awe-

    -Some

  • Can't wait see a train go 220 mph in the future

  • the sad thing is if we actually had HSR lines the Acela is as fast if not faster than the ICE 3's they are built to hit 200mph

  • Meh that's their new strobe light technology xD

  • It always don't look like 150 mph from a distance

  • Is there anyone of you who knows the ICE??? Acela is so slow.....the ICE is running 200 MPH and more!

  • @Jones1660one ICE 3 is actually running 186 MPH => 300 km/h

  • @TinyPiinkThing In Germany it is running 186 MPH but between Frankfurt and Paris The ICE 3 is running 200 = 320 km/h. I were inside it.

  • @TinyPiinkThing believe me, between Saarbrücken and Paris the trains are running 320 km/h. I have been there!

  • wwwuhhh nice man

  • That wire, via that red thing, a pantagraph generates electricity and the pantagraph was generating the sparks.

    See the next video L8R.

  • i think its called an "AIRGAP" in the wiring

  • i have seen trains with some more and less sparks from an acela

  • How cool was it outside?

  • Take it off of auto focus next time!

  • I think i no why its called a powercar and not a locomotive

  • Whoa... That's FAST!!!!!

  • But I don't want to remain behind the yellow line.

  • then u become amtrak roadkill

  • That's called suicide!

  • What Camera is that? Love the nightvision!

  • wow i would like to go in one of those trains one of those trains one day

  • if u got hit by that u would be in atleast 50 pieces :O

  • No you would be totally disintigrated.

  • Yep! As a matter of fact, one would be reduced to mush! Luckily, in a sense, you wouldn' t have time to suffer. I was once on a train that hit a cow at about 70 mph in Brittany, France. It wasn' t a pretty sight, the poor animal had been cut in half!!! So, you can imagine the Acela hitting you, much lighter than a cow (at least, I think so, lol) at more than twice that speed! woosh, splat!

  • actually you'd be pavement pizza

  • uhh dude the trains gone and its still syaing "train approching please stand behind yellow line" -.- little late

  • They should also include some good ole' bells in the set up.

  • This is America retard.

  • does the acela train go thru Connecticut? I'm from ct origionally and live in wa state now so just wondering.

  • Yep...Runs from Stonington, CT (SE CT) all the way to NY on the SW coast of CT.

  • thanks

  • Hmmm, those wires can move more...

  • Wow, very nice.

  • cool -- was there ice on the overhead wires?

  • I dont think so, it hadent rained for about 4 days.

  • Don't you hate it when you camera won't focus? :l

  • sure do, this cam is horrible @ night. u have to get it in just the right position in order for it 2 b clear

  • Thats one thing I like about electric trains:

    Sparks coming off the pantograph.

  • yup

  • #92 - Top Rated (Today) - Autos & Vehicles

  • <3 this!

  • NIIIICE!

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. that was moven!!! awesome video!!

  • the reason for the sparks because the over head wire is frozen but this was cool and fast it reminded me of being over in cambridge with the eletric trolleybuses

  • or it could be faulty wireing seeing as the whole northeast corridor electrical system is well over 70 years old.

  • HOlY @!#$% that was fast ! 5 stars

  • LOL! Thanks

  • I Like It! 5*****!

  • Thanks dude! I appreciate it!

  • No problem! This IS my favorite train on the NEC!

  • It pretty much is everyone's favorite NEC train.

  • Awsome!

  • great video
