Great, looks much easier than I thought. My only other concern is stepping with the filter knob, as I heard very obvious stepping on an SE-1 demo. Did the SE1x improve in this regard?
The original SE-1 does suffer from very limited resolution on knobs. The SE-1X has a somewhat improved OS that effectively increase this resolution to CC messages (128 steps). But on critical parameters like filter cutoff and fine tuning of oscillators, you can still hear some slight stepping when slowly turning knobs, especially with high resonance on the filter.
The more modern Moog Voyager, in comparison, has 16384 steps on each knobs with absolutely no stepping.
