  • hey hey! Have you heard about the Fat Blast Furnace (search on google)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my father shed tons of useless fat.

  • Great video! Thanks a bunch!

  • Can any 1 help I have been a vegan now for 4 days I mostly eat a lot of fruits and veggies I feel great! Not! Starving at all! I make sure I eat enough calories but lately I noticed I look bloated well only the lower part of my belly I look 3 months prego I also drink a lot of water! A lot! In the mornings I wake up with the same bloated problem:( will this go away after a while? For further info my face looks slim now I don't drink milk or eat eggs or bread just plain fruits and veggies and a

  • @ariesterrazas If you are eating only fruit and veg then you are not getting a balanced diet, of course you're hungry!

You NEED to add cereal (like rice, quinoa, etc; even pasta and bread) and protein (pulses like chickpeas and lentils, seitan, tofu, tempeh etc) plus b12 etc

Being vegan isn't just about taking away the animal products from your diet and eating what's left, it's about replacing them with new ingredients

Lots of websites can help you out.

    Congrats on your choice!

  • @lindaliriel THANK YOU!!!

  • I went through almost the same experience and I just couldn't figure out why I wasn't dropping the pounds continuously and after all this time gluten and soy was the problem. I eat PB sandwhiches almost once or twice a day and I have soy milk everyday with cereal. This video has inspired me to cut out those unneeded snacks. Thank you so much.

  • I love your videos :) you look wonderful and very happy. I'm trying to eat vegan as well, but being a teenager I'm a bit low on funds and my mom finds all the food I ask for expensive :/ so I eat vegetarian now and hope to switch to vegan when I'm older and do my own shopping :)

  • Western doctors need to deal with the fact that your body and mind are all one system. To say otherwise is false. Kind of like saying drugs AND alcohol.

  • I have always been overweight and just 3 weeks ago my dad introduced me to vitamins. After i started taking vitamins i no longer craved anything. It was then i realized i could finally realize my dream of being vegan and gluten free and not to mention nothing processed. I've tried in the past but the unhealthy cravings i would get would be incredibly overpowering. Like i said, it has been 3 weeks and already my acne is clearing up, my digestion is exponentially better&i've lost 11 pounds(:

  • FIRST VID I EVER ACTUALLY WATCHED THROUGHLY. T.U

  • EVERYWORD IS AN INTAKE TO MY EARS

  • INSPIRATIONAL! THANK U! Y.O.L.O!

  • Thank you for posting this video. You are right- it is really inspiring. I started the vegan journey last June after watching "Forks Over Knives" in my hometown, making it a goal in June to eat not meat (easy for me, semi-vegetarian), no milk and eggs in July (easy for eggs, because I don't like them, milk was harder- hidden in a lot of things), and no refined oils/sugars in August- still struggling with this one!! This past summer, I had a lot of time to focus on myself, my body, listening

  • I'm a flight attendant and constantly eat on the go. Do you have any advice for what I should pack for food using the vegan diet?

    Thanks!! :)

  • @chickapucka1 clif energy bars, nuts, seeds, vegetable chips, fruits, you could make smoothies, bring salad in a container (can also buy mock chicken to put in it or cut up tofu), you can never go wrong with sandwiches: vegan turkey sandwich (Smart Deli® Turkey brand), PB&J (gelatin-free jellys not hard to find), vegan ham-sandwhich (Smart Deli® ham slices), make pasta salad to put in a container, soy yogurt (WholeSoy & Co brand), vegetarian soup in a thermos + so much more! I hope I helped :-)

  • @chickapucka1 oops sorry about the last comment, I didnt watch the video the whole way through and thought you just wanted vegan foods, I didnt know you wanted to cut out soy like her...but I hope my last comment gave you some ideas!

  • God you're beautiful.

  • I can't give up canned fish, i need my protein.

  • I've been Vegan for two months and gained weight. And, like you, I gained weight because I ate it because it was called Vegan. Now I'm getting back to whole and raw foods. You mentioned the gluten and soy. That caught my interest. I've learned a lot about gluten but have not Ben able to get a handle in it -as well as the soy. Soy, does that include tofu?

  • ive been thinking about going vegan but i'm worried about protien intake. I thought I could get my protien from just beans and tofu but i saw this video saying we need complete protiens (meat) and incomplete protiens (plants). How do you get your proper protien intake.

  • @penthesilea2020 we are made to think we need alot of protein but frankly we only need 20-60grams a day that you can get from many different beans and nuts.theres no such thing as protein difficiency

  • @penthesilea2020 Plants are not incomplete proteins, they just don't have all the protein we need in one single plant, like one piece of meat does. You can get your complete protein by eating a lot and a variety of plants. Also, you don't need a complete protein at every meal, you can just eat throughout the day and the protein adds up! Hope this helps! You should check out The Kind Diet by Alicia Silverstone, it has everything you need to know.

  • @penthesilea2020 Most Americans actually get too much protein! You can easily get your daily protein intake from beans, nuts, seeds, and some veggies. I recommend looking up vegan athletes and MMA fighters. :)

  • wonderful video. you are positively glowing and have solidified my decision to lead a vegan, whole-food lifestyle. thanks!

  • Very heart felt and sincere. Loved hearing your path.

  • PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do the other video! x

  • Have you done a video on how to lose weight at a healthy pace?

  • Kudos on the videos/channel =) My long-term goal is also to become a gluten-free vegan. However, I noticed that my food portions and their nutritional values are really unhealthy. I feel drained, I never know when I'm full, or which nutrients my body is lacking. How can I accomplish this lifestyle when I'm an on-the-go college student with a tight budget and my body hasn't been giving me reliable feedback the entire time? The more I read about it, the more confused I get? Please help.

  • ...I just saw your video: Easy, Cheap, Healthy Vegan Meals: Less Than $2 and 15 minutes Each! It's good, I'll try to follow that for now. However, PLEASE TELL ME how to calculate the portion sizes, while keeping a low carb and fat intake, and yet feel full?

  • i have celiac disease and could never lose weight until i was finally diagnosed after many years of bloating and stomach pain......the puffiness went away with me too.....i am now gluten free and mostly soy free vegan.....and 90% of my diet is raw vegan....i feel better than ever and eat more than ever and keep losing weight :)

  • Yeah, soy makes women fat!

That's because of the fitoestrogens, it simply disables the progesterone, that is exactly what make a woman lose weight and get fit.

  • I have been doing the vegan thing :) for two weeks and I feel so different and good. Thanks for the videos, I will be checking them all out :)

  • ...wow i was just talking to a friend wondering if there was someone on you tube who was a vegan with a gluten senisitivity...HERE YOU ARE :) *Subscribe* :)

  • Why are you so awesome?!

    (rhetorical question, of course)

  • This was super inspirational, thank you!!!

  • Well I'm a vegan, and still overweight. I don't ear much junk but being middle aged and post menopausal makes it so much harder to lose weight.

  • @SisterSunshineTV try raw vegan / live vegan eating..search for Markus Rothkanz vids..eating so you will have energy and get young..and take plus multivitamins which includes 20000X of RDA amounts.. it works :)

  • I've been overweight my entire life. At the age of 18 I decided I was going to do something about it. I did hip hop aerobics, stopped eating cakes or whatever my family brought home. My family does southern cooking (lots of fat in food). I learned how to make my own food. I fell off gained my weight+. I then, went lacto-ovo vegetarian lost about 20 pounds, met my husband and he convinced me to eat that stupid gyro. That was nine years ago. Six weeks ago I decided I was tired of being

  • this heavy I began researching. I didn't tell my husband what I was doing. The first wk I did eat sugar because I didn't have an alternate in my pantry & I want my coffee with sweet stuff. I lost five pounds that wk. My husband found out I went vegan on FB. I didn't want him talking me out of it. I knew if he saw the change he would leave me alone. By wk 2 my husband understood that I no longer had cramps from meat. I'm allergic to most meat need to incorporate exercise though.

  • Love this!

  • Love, Love, Love this vid! My daughter and I are both vegetarian. We try very hard to be vegan but giving up cheese has been very difficult. We eat raw often and I cook mostly from scratch there are hardly any processed foods in my home. I have lost 70 lbs since starting my food journey and love hearing how other people have been successful loosing weight. I have been wondering about the gluten piece. I need to learn more about it first. Keep up the great work!

  • how do u get b12?

  • @rui27marne Supplements

  • Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Very inspiring. You look amazing!

The raw food diet can be simple and inexpensive. Just think about how easy it is just to peel a banana and eat it. Raw "gourmet" meals are a special treat, but the best things to eat on a raw vegan diet are just fresh ingredients in their natural state.

  • Don't worry you look great ;) You're bf is lucky :)

  • Hey I'm trying to go vegan too, and so far I took out all meat from my diet except fish so you could say I'm a vegetarian that eats fish once a week. Its been only two weeks and I have constant stomach aches any ideas why? Thanks :)

  • @zelda127 Probably the fish. just get rid of it all together. also, are you eating more dairy or eggs than usual to substitute the meat? That could also be a factorl

  • How can I convince my parents to buy more healthy foods for not only my benefit but for the family as well. I don't want them to see my desire for a change in lifestyle as a "special menu because im too good for the food already in the house" (Dad's words by the way). My weight has been a struggle for me since middle school. I want to feel great not only on the outside, but above all on the inside.

  • @128nycsb First look to see what is in the fridge/ freezer. When I was 18 my gram had veggies but bought cakes I told them no thanks on the cakes and I offered to cook If they eat meat you aren't going to convince them to go vegan I would opt for removing skin from chicken and making a stir fry with nuts Don't add the chicken until you have your portion of the stir fry Maybe you can convince them to not do the chicken for one night If you have fruit, blender, and ice a smoothie is dessert!

  • You are always just glowing! So beautiful. I'm so glad you shared your journey with us, it's very inspirational. Love your videos! :) Thank you!

  • Whitney, the reason you are sooooo awesome is that you are as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside. I love your restuarant reviews, always makes me hungry tho. Keep the vids coming.

  • If you want to go raw on a budget, both money and time wise, read The 80/10/10 Diet. Michael Arnstein calls it the fruitarian diet. 811ers eat mostly fruit, some veggies, and minimal nuts and seeds. 30 bananas a day is a lifesaver, as is cron-o-meter for counting calories (to make sure you're getting enough) and vities/minerals and whatnot. If you buy wholesale, you'll end up spending less than half as much as you would at the grocery store.

  • you have really inspired me :) I've been vegan for a little over a year now but I have cheated quite a bit over the last few months and I hate myself for it :( but I truly believe in veganism and I'm going to try again, and I'm going to attempt gluten-soy free as well because I believe I have a sensitivity to that as well. :)

  • where do you take hip hop?? hip hop literally saved my life. and my friend and i are planning on taking a bunch of hip hop classes all over the country either next summer or the summer after that! great video!

  • Fantastic video Whitney! Glad to see you feel better than ever with your dietary changes. Very inspiring =)

  • If your thinking raw read 80/10/10 . Love your vids xxx

  • Your gorgeous!

  • can you help us with what kind of food can be included in your diet? do you use stevia?

  • @itsra1ning she does .. stevia and dates

  • Another great video! You just keep pumping them out. :-)

  • Yay!! Thank you so so much for this video :) xxx Something wrong with youtube, vids not showing up in subscription box, hope a lot of people see this once its fixed :) xxx
