  • I'm 17 and I've just found today in school I have Anxiety , I never had a way too explain. I've smoked weed once and I Will never do that shit again , Anxiety hit me like a ton of bricks. I've been living with this for years and the way I Cope with it is by Singing or Listening too loud music. thanks

  • i can go out and function like everything is ok for short periods of time but i have to work myself up to do this ,i dread life in general i worry all the time and i need reasurance that everything/everyone is ok , my solution was to make excuses not to see people anymore as i couldnt put into words how i was feeling or if i did it all seemed to come out wrong, now i avoid situations if i can, if i stay in i am safe and no one can hurt me mentally or physically and i just have to keep breathing

  • I feel the anxiety sensation in the area often called the solar plexus ? Its the area between the upper abdomen and just below the chest. There's supposed to be a bundle of nerves there. Also the diaphragm muscle membrane which enables breathing.

  • i have symptoms of high anxiety and i am worrying about being a drug-addict, i dont do any drugs and i never will but it just started out of the blue and its in my head all day. In random points of the day the thoughts will start racing through my head and it's a very horrible feeling.

  • I have most of thr symptoms of anxeity... it sucks.. I have never been on medication for it... but my brother is and I also think I have PTSD from the emotional trama my own mother and sometimes friends have put on my shoulders to carry until i die.

  • My throat also feels like it's closing, which causes me to panic even more.. then my heart starts to race, I get fidgety, then the hyperventilation slips in. Sometimes I can calm myself by thinking calmly, and slowing my breathing down. I've found that, if I can make myself laugh at something funny on youtube.. or doing something else as easy as, doing my hair and makeup.. the anxiety slowly slips away as my mind is preoccupied. You just need to find a way to keep yourself calm xx good luck.

  • I thought I would comment seeing as I have been diagnosed with this.

    For 9 full years I've slowly developed, an Anxiety disorder, Agoraphobia, Health anxiety, mild depression.. and a little bit of social anxiety, but that isn't my main problem. Sometimes.. I feel like I can't breath, so I start to panic more, and leave the place where ever I am.. even if it's in my own living room at home. My bedroom is my 'Safe zone' I do go out at the weekends if I am well enough.. but it's not often.

  • You're actually wrong. "Feeling detached and/or Unreal" Is It's own diagnosis. It's called "De-personalization" Or, "De-realization" It's not part of anxiety but It comes from It and can last your entire life, or just a few weeks. Check my videos for free truth and science!

  • @AwwwMuffinz Actually it is a form of anxiety not all disorders have differant symptoms a person with anxiety can feel symptoms from other disorders like racing thoughts is also related to schizophrenia but it isnt just a mild form of anxiety

  • hey guys i been having muscle tightness for like a long time. i went to like 4 different doctors and they all had the same resluts,, STRESS AND ANXITY... he told me to take a muscle relaxer for like 1 month and stop. d u think that wil help my muslce relax??? i do think alot and for some reson i worry all the time , and get scared. do u think these pills are save and effective??

  • i have all of this symthoms im always feeling n believing that im dying .im so tire of it.i went to a lot of different doctors n they all tell me the same !! U HAVE ANXIETY attacks !! i am only 24 years old n i rather die if im gonna have this for the rest of my life!!

  • its just a myth that it helps.i have smoked weed and had to take a zanax right afterwards to calm me down.dont smoke weed to help you cope.try to find out the cause of why you feel this way.look up ways to help yourself.because at the end of the day you know how you truly feel.find better ways to cope

  • @SylviaRose93 i agree. i always think im dying. my fingers look purple. if i burp (which then i start to do it alot) i feel like im trying to puke, then choking on it, so i keep drinking water, i forget to breathe and then have to sit in front of a mirror checking my heart until i come down.

  • @SylviaRose93 It depends on what strain and ratio between different components of cannabis compounds. Saying "Weed makes it worse" is not accurate.

  • ... Could one also substitute tremors with convulsions? It seems that tremors are a less severe type of trembling, but when I experience these attacks, I have most of the symptoms, but with painful convulsions that make it almost impossible to move. Also, my muscles contract, my jaw clenches shut (I can't talk), and if I move my mouth, I risk biting my tongue. My muscles get so tight all over that I can barely maneuver my arms and legs. I sometimes get ringing in my ears.

  • Anxiety is hell to go through. I often experience it in public transportation. Which is why I always use my bike when I go somewhere.

Everyday I feel unfocused, my head feels like it's rushing, my head hurts, stomach cramps, shortness of breath, my heart beats irregularly, sometimes I forget to breathe (seriously).   • @PawneeStud All I can suggest is avoid alcohol! I use it as a way of dealing with anxiety but it makes my symptoms much worse the next day. When I have a panic attack I take a warm bath and try to think about a really happy time or try and remember how mentally strong I used to be before suffering from anxiety. Going for a walk helps too and bring a bottle of water to either drink or tip over your head when the anxiety gets too much. The shock of the cold helps you to snap out of it for a bit.

  • @prasert85 the weed is the wrong and shit and can make you flip bady like It did it to me , but alcohol can help some time ,I know what you mean: you feel good great and even powerful when you drink a beer or wine or brandy , but then tomorow when you start geting sober you are feeling despered and angry its like you are angry on the whole world right?   • I'm confused, I have Anxiety but not clear on it. Mostly because it's new to me and i haven't read much information on it.

    Is Anxiety a disorder that happens/occurs all the time? I know that Panic Attacks only occur at certain times, especially near Triggers or where it happened the last time.

  • i had one panic attack about a month ago, it was F-ing scary, no jokes. after the attack, i alwaays feel tired, blank mind, lost appetite, insomia.

    i talked to the couciler in my school, i became better a few days later. right now, i can eat well and sleep well, the only problem is the blank mind problem, sometiems my head feels so empty that i thought i am going to pass out, anyone had that before?

  • I recently began having Anxiety Attacks. And it's very scary. You feel like youre going to die at any moment. And what make it even worse is that a couple of weeks ago i saw dateline on NBC about a murder trial, and in the report some guy said that people just die and the auotpsy won't show a cause of death. That make it more F-ing scarier.

  • I have Pure-O (OCD), depression, and anxiety; I also used to be a little bit of a hypochondriac, but lately, after going vegan, I started thinking "what if you're anorexic?", then, it ALL started! I began to have anxiety and obsessive thoughts about food.. I'm beginning to fear I'm anorexic..I love food and do not exercise compulsively, but I can't seem to shake the anxiety..I get a lot of intrusive and "what if" thoughts, so is it just OCD and me over-reacting??   • @mrbatdance dude i go to the gym and i love bodybuilding but i still feel like shit and ya the drugs dont work for some of us and by drugs i mean the stuff that your doctors gaves you

  • bad thoughts must go away..or else the body and mind will never be at ease.I go to cognitive behavioral therapy sessions lately to help change the way i think and also work out 3 times a week...finding a good psychiatrist\ psychotherapist took me 14 years and i have also tried numerous pills..some pills worked for a while but in time lost their efficiency and others turned me into a fucking zombie.Anxiety is a sneaky little bitch and pills only mask the problem when you need to find the cause.

  • @MetallicAus I was taking Zoloft then when I stop taking it, It stopped the twitching. I am trying natural herbs now. It really good.

  • @saulski90 I went to my local Organic store like Whole Foods, Earthfare ( my store was called Home economics market, and I went to a one of their workers and told what I was going through and she directed towards this serum i guess you could call that you put under your tongue for like 30 seconds then shallow , it is really good.

  • yep i have thosd syptoms and i have anxiety attacks quite often even in school and on a daily basis but i know how to control them without medication and i think that even if i did have medication for them it wouldnt have made a difference.
