At 21 Malkin has already won the Art Ross something Kovalev has never even come close to in his entire career. Probably never even been in the top 10. I have watched Kovalev highlights like when he was playing the Bruins in the playoffs in 2004 and got hit and grabbed his arm and gave up on the play and Glen Murray grabbed the puck and had a breakaway and scored in OT to go up 3 games to 1. He's good when he shows up but too bad that only happens when he feels like it. This year was a prime example when they told him to stay home for a few games. He's one of the all-time laziest players in history. If I were you I'd be happy he's gone. He's over the hill anyways. Malkin will eventually be way better than Kovalev ever was and already is.

Why the hell is everybody talking shit about Crosby? All he was doing was sticking up for his teammate which is what I would expect everyone to do. What do you want him to do? Stand there like a doehead after his teammate just got hit from behind face first into the boards? Whether it was intentional or not you have to respond.
