  • hey thanks for the tags i love them!

  • @epicsr never cheated on him.... We're friends now hopefully he understands that and doesnt speak out of emotion rather than the truth...

  • @SARGENTSCRUFY JUST FOR THE RECORD NEVER CHEATED ON HIM NOT ONCE AND NOT THREE TIMES BUT NEVER! just saying!

  • She is afraid of this rifle. The video does not lie.

  • @getemhi not afraid... look at my sholder... i was bracing... but still dislocated it... lol... weak sholders

  • You can see she shuts her eyes right before she fires, thats some bad flinching..

  • @1airplane21 wasnt the first time that DAY i dislocated my shoulder yes i flinched... still made it only 2 points away from getting my marksman medal... first time shooting

  • @EmmieC88 nice

  • she handled it well but i think she felt it.lol

  • @notregme my shouldersure did!

    watch it dislocate

  • @EmmieC88 wow must of hurt .i know this will sound strange but you would have been better to be in the standing position with a rifle like that. 30-06 had a good kick to it and when your in the porn the but of the rifle is resting on your callor bone in sted of the shoulder. hope you dont give up shooting its a great spot but takes practice. good vid thou . later.

  • @notregme oops i meant to say prone and sport , lol

  • @notregme just went to the range today! shot a Taurus and a m14 .... never knew an m14 could shoot 9mm but this one was only for 9mm i know i sound weird but it's fascinating... didnt get a chance to go any step up from that but i completely suck at hand guns... i'm a rifle girl! im a great shot with a rifle but with a hand gun i can hurt your shoulder thats about it lol

  • @EmmieC88 cool , its good you keep shooting .

  • Welcome to Manland baby!

  • ching!!!

  • Sure is a strange looking kitchen

  • eyes closed, face tightened, hand shook. has anyone taught her the trigger squeez?

  • @MaxFlared yes and this was FIRST time shooting did pretty good... now i'm a pro teaching others!

  • i would have loved to hear the slow motion "pppppppppppiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnggggggg"

  • PING!

  • thumbs up if you liked this Girl vs. M1 Garand Recoil High Speed Cam

  • Yes it took me 60 rounds from my rifle to get rid of the flinch! when i finaly got over it my shots where much better group's got much tighter.

  • What flew out of that gun?

  • @Pustic2 When the last round is expended in the M1-Garand, the clip is ejected from the top of the weapon. Each clip holds 8 rounds.

  • @Pustic2 message to go back to the kitchen

  • @tgchan I love how she closed her eyes before firing...she'll be a GENERAL some day!

  • @happy543210 Sure will on my way to it too!

  • @Pustic2 That was the "enbloc" clip. The one ejected was designed to only allow one round to be loaded at a time. Those were made because loading a single round in a normal 8 round enbloc clip can cause misfeeding and weak lock-up, which can be dangerous. Not may people use the single round clips. This is a smart Garand owner introducing a young woman to shooting the Garand.

  • @guns4good - indeed. I'm glad to see someone that practices firearm safety with some degree of diligence. I've seen more than a few videos where the "guy" loads up a handgun/rifle to capacity on something with a lot of recoil and the poor lady ends up bump firing it. There is a SW 500 video out there with a double fire and she almost lost her face. First time introducing a firearm to a newbie = 1 shot loaded only. Big ole thumbs up to the original poster!

  • @guns4good It was actually a 2 round clip I use for competition, but it does make loading a single round, like I did for her, much easier as well. In competition we shoot 10 rounds with a required reload, I shoot 2+8.

  • @SARGENTSCRUFY I wasn't aware that double round clips were around. I've seen the singles and 5 round clips--and of course the standard 8 round clips. Cool deal. Definitely the smart way to intro a new shooter to the Garand. :-)

  • I wonder if anyone told or taught her, or was she "set-up" to "fail." My oldest daughter knows how to shoot an M-1 Garand, but she was taught and did not "start" with a large heavy 30 06 weapon. Just saying, of course she could have been trying to "prove" something too.

  • @sarge22853 yes yes and no... i had just reset my shoulder from it being dislocated with a previous gun so i lost my chill and got really nervous... im used to flipping m1s not shooting them lol

  • Hahaha she flenched.

  • Thank o it wasnt a Kar98K then. They kick!

  • I'm going to keep this video as reference to people who are going to be shooting for the first time. She clampers her eyes shut when she yanks the trigger. She hand is to far back to properly support the rifle to negate recoil and improve her accuracy. It also looks like she wasn't hold the stock in tight enough to disperse some of that kick.

  • @Totallydistortedfilm first take in to account FIRST TIME SHOOTER. second nervous from shoulder dislocation from another fire arm then be sure to take in to account that i am little and short... granad isnt the best gun for me... fun to shoot... i had the rifle positioned properly in my shoulder but tinced up while SQUEEZING the trigger... the trigger pull was like a hair pull it was supper light

  • From the expression of her face, it looks like she is beginning to say "Oh shit, that hurts!"

  • @SavageJim01 watch my shoulder...

  • i like how she closed her eye has she pulled the trigger. lol. wish i had a m1

  • @SARGENTSCRUFY never cheated asshole

  • whooah thats me! i didnt know i had comments!

  • wow, ignoring the obvious fact that she closed her eyes, it didn't look like she was holding the rifle tightly enough(major shoulder pain) and yep, she definitely pulled her shot!

  • @BlackEcho24 FIRST TIME SHOOTER! why is everyone not realizing that!... wanna let you know i did VERY WELL that day! gah! people are hateful... also take in account i was like 14...

  • lol love the tags. ^_^

  • I am gonna show this video to anyone who asks me what a "flinch" looks like; eyes completely closed when the gun goes off. Great educational vid, thanks for posting.

  • @MrMosinMan89 You might include the fact that she didn't have the weapon tucked firmly into her shoulder, which explains he look of pain on her face at the end of the video.

  • DAMM

  • Hey u spelled sargant wrong its sergant

  • @TheMpless It's actually "sergeant"

  • @sevensixtwomm you rock

  • @EmmieC88 Yay!

  • @sevensixtwomm haha

  • she shut her eyes lol, you never wanna do that lol

  • She needs to work on not flinching.

  • LOL. It wasnt that bad, she just needs to move her left hand a little farther up and grip the stock, not rest it on her palm. Her expression at the end was priceless though! lol

  • She closed her eyes completely but I think if she was standing up it would have been more obvious.

Yeah I saw a training video about shooting the M1 and they said not to rest it like that in the prone position.

  • I saw that training video too, I think, theres a series here on youtube about the M1 and how to use it and all.

  • haha,face on it!
