@RuggedLike Do you mean the green algae? This resolved with sufficient plant cover. For iron, I throw in a dash of regular garden variety iron chelate. It clouds the water only briefly. I use the Tom Barr method of replacing a large volume of water weekly, usually half the tank, and put in epsum salts, Tropica master grow, drops of a sodium phosphate (from an over the counter enema). There are calculators online for an exact recipe for the Tom Barr method. Don't have a link right now.
@RuggedLike I also use excel for Algae suppression. It is a weak form of formaldehyde, not a carbon supplement as the label claims.
