  • great post cgrts

  • Saw this song on Vh1 hip hop honors

  • Haven't heard this version in nearly 20 years. Thanks for posting.

  • they did instrumentals so u could mix and play with the beats without the lyrics in the way mixing and scratching

  • If you know the why for the sing, then you know why the instrumental versions.

One of my fav is " Face down a** up"

  • Awesome! It's funny, because an instrumental version of a song, seemed to be a popular concept with hip hop albums in the early 90s. Really don't get it...why would anyone want to listen to any instrumental version of a song, esp. hip hop? Unless of course, we were referring to the ingenious sounds of DJ Mr. Mixx!!!

  • i dont know what you just said but hell yeah!

  • @daltondeuce so young kid's could rap to the album that's why they do it

  • nice stuff

  • wow Dude great post --- do you have this as an mp3 ?

  • This has got a lot of vocals for an instrumental! Must be the karaoke version...

  • Actually, it's not a Karoke version. It's off a limited released 2 Live Crew CD Single which had 4 versions of Banned In The USA. Weird but this is the Instrumental version.
