  • I'm selling my Rick 360/12v64 on the Internet Auction now, but watching your Tubes, my mind is changing and started feeling like keeping it with me forever...... the issue is I can't play 12-strings guitar well......:(

  • @takezo73 I can't play mine that well either, but I am still keeping it.

  • Very good Buddy... ur extremely talented.... and u must be very talented for affordin all those ricks... keep up the good work!

  • coooool

  • Great version!!! Really love this take on things

  • wow! you are really good! great job!

  • wow buddy how many ricks do you own?...this is really good

  • @bobntricia2007 Thanks! I have four Rickenbackers.

  • I don't suppose you tabbed this by any chance, can only find chords for this song

  • @gogosimonadebisi No....I don't use tabs. I play by ear.

  • where did u learn that

  • @legolas35653 I'm self taught...

  • Buddy, awesome work, man! I've heard this song a thousand times, but not appreciated the guitar work as much until watching and listening to you. Thanks.

  • @bmwbmwus Thanks!

  • is that the new rick it sound hevanly

  • send me the tabs please

  • Buddy, nice job on a vintage Beatles Classic, one of those songs you can shut your eyes and see John doing that funky bob up and down while he was paying. I always thought this song had some C &W elements to it.

  • Thanks!

  • Buddy, once again, you are an awesome guitar player and you have a good taste! I really enjoy watching your videos!

  • Thank you very much!

  • can you please tell what chords you are using

  • Hey buddy how much did the rickenbacker 360-12 and 360-6vp cost? And im a fan of the Beatles and George Harrison. Is it alright if you could do the rolling stones and the animals covers

  • I've had them for a while now...and paid less than they would sell for now. A new 360-12 with Toasters will probably go for around $2500-$3000 and a new 360-6VP will probably go for around $2000-$2500.

  • Great sound !

  • hi exelent song its of my favorites you play awesome i want a rickenbacker jajaa xD well i buy the beatles to a tee volumes 1,2,3 and 4 if you want some songs visit the user jayethee to see the videos and tell me if you want a song in especific ok? well thanks and exelent videos!!

  • Mono or Stereo :)?

  • Mono

  • great cover man,and they are some serious kick ass looking cushions xD

  • Sweet rickenbackers, i hope i can get one someday

  • some really awesome playing & ric guitars

  • Thanks! -BC

  • This one of my favorites of you playing. The chords themselves almost dictate the melody, sounds great they way you pick up every little nuance.

Where did you get your toasters? I have the high gains and can't even locate any toasters. An occasional one on Ebay for a fortune. I don't think they even make the reissues anymore. I may be out of luck on getting them.

    thanks

  • Thank you! The toasters can be purchased directly from Rickenbacker or from their company website. Check out the Rickenbacker Botique and you'll find them. -BC

  • Hey Buddy, I'm a big fan of the tone you get. Do you use flatwound strings or roundwound on your rickenbackers?

  • Thanks!~ I use Rickenbacker Brand strings and they are round-wound. -BC

  • Thanks for the quick reply. I have a semi-hollow 12 string with toaster pickups (not a rick though) and I've been thinking of experimenting with flatwounds since its my understanding that everyone with Rick 12 strings in the 60s used flatwounds (Who, Beatles, etc)

  • I don't have any experience with Flatwound strings on a Ric but I may give them a try sometime. -BC

  • Buddy you reminded me how much joy playing used to bring me. You inspired me to kick off the dust and rust and enjoy again. Thanks

  • Thank you! -BC

  • Buddy you have inspired me to get back at it and play again. I forgot how much joy it brought me until I watched you. Thanks

  • hey buddy, what are your preferences as of the Rickenbacker pick ups? I love the RIC jangle but dont know exactly if I should stick with the high gains... do you know if you can get the toaster sound almost with the high-gains?

  • I personally like the Toasters better...and I've had both types of pickups in Ricks before. The Toaster has a subtle but noticible difference in tone and "jangle" so if you want that original Rickenbacker Jangle, go with the Toasters. They will drop right in the same slots your High Gain pickups came out of. It's a very easy switch to make. -BC

  • i knew about the fit, just couldnt decide on which of the two. do you think that a compressor on the high-gains and boost the treble(highs) up a little, turn down bass? i would rather not spend 300 dollars on 2 toasters (will if necessary) so if it is at all possible to do it with high-gains... If you have the time maybe you could demo both pickups!! Preferably 6 string variants of both. You have two 6 strings correct? If you could make a demo that would be great!!!!!

  • Somewhere in the DVD's I have a disc with a pickup changeout procedure on the Rick 360 when I changed out the "High Gains" for the "Toasters". If I run across it, I'll see if it is worth posting. The Toasters are worth the $ in my opinion. -BC

  • im a LOOOOOOOOOOOOSSER and im not wat i appear to be i love this song too a im obsessed with the beatles great cover

  • Thanks! -BC

  • man, that rick is epic. Great playing!

  • Thanks! -BC

  • great playing man! 5 stars!love the guitar and the microphone looks like a toaster! :D

  • in some places, it sound like you're playing a 12 string. very good playing!

  • Thanks! -BC

terrible diagram, i kno. but if u ge the idea thts all tht matters

  • index finger on 2nd fret g string

ring finger on 3rd fret b string

middle finger on 2nd fret high e string

  • are 360s more sparkling sounding than 330s?

  • I've never owned a 330...but it is my understanding that the Ric 330 and Ric 360 are very similar in sound. I prefer the overall look of the 360 over the 330 as it is a more "deluxe" guitar. -BC

  • just loved listening to this fab music played brilliantly bybyou

  • Thanks! -BC

  • cool...another BEATLES fan...lol.

  • One of Lennon's best, keep up the Beatles covers!! ... you have the touch, and a fine Rick you have there! (I'm jealous)

  • Thanks! -BC

  • excellent

  • Outstanding as usual! Buddy, what pickups does tyour 360 have? Thx, JB

  • Thanks! All of my Rickenbackers have the Vintage Toaster Pickups that are rated at 7.4KOhm and they can normally be purchased direct from Rickenbaker. -BC

  • Thank You! -BC

  • Sounds great Buddy...that lovely jangly Ric sounds. Wish I could play my 330 as well as you play your Ric's. 5*

  • Great cover and beautiful guitar!

  • Thanks! -BC

  • Once again a great job Buddy! I love watching you play and I'm always looking forward to see what you'll play next. Just can't beat the sound of those rickies, Keep on rockin!!

  • Thank you! -BC

  • It is very good playing with the colorful sound of the rickenbacker.

I am always enjoying your great play in Japan.

And I wish I could play the guitar like you.

  • Thank you! -BC

  • Great job on an underrated Beatles song. Seems like they channeled a bit of Carl Perkins on this one, doesn't it?

  • Thanks! I think George often drew the on Carl Perkins style of playing in the early days of the Beatles. -BC

  • yeah. beatles for sale-era songs, especially.

  • Great job Buddy.

  • Thank you! -BC

  • george used the rickenbacker on this song? i thought it was a gretsch

  • it was his Tennessean

  • BC ALL I Can Say Is Wow. Wesfield90 Hit The Nail Of The Head This Is Awesome. Great Job.

  • Thanks! -BC

  • Good deal! I'm going to do some Beatle Bass covers when I get some time. -BC

  • Nice! Love the Rickenbacker sound! Hope to see more Beatles covers! :)

  • Thanks! I just put up another one. -BC

  • Thanks! -BC

  • Hey Clontz, nice cover! I really like your vids.

    Keep up the good work!

  • Glad you liked the video. -BC

  • Great cover, you nailed it down to a tee!

  • Thank You! -BC

  • no problem, TL

  • Hey Buddy! This is an awesome cover, I also enjoy listening to your Rickenbacker. I recently purchased a Gretsch Electromatic 5120 to add to my collection. It looks similar to the Tenneseann model but not as expensive!

  • Thanks! I'd like to own a nice Gretsch but I'll have to wait a little while before I jump onto one of those. I puchased 3 guitars this year and I have to stop somewhere...LOL -BC

  • ye. those are nice. what color is yours in? also, the g5122 resembles the country gentleman, so either is a nice buy.

  • Thanks! This Ric 360-6 is in Montezuma Brown finish...which is one of my favorite Rickenbacker finishes. They are fine guitars. -BC
