I actually use a Sony DSCH1 camera/camcorder combo... it just records directly to a memory stick. I gave it a test run at a BTS show in Omaha (after having the camera for a few years!) and was really surprised with how the videos turned out. It always took great pictures but it picks up the audio really well for a cheap point & shoot camera. Thanks for the comment!
