Hey Democrats! You missed someone. You forgot Jim Webb of Virginia.  Which I'm proud to say, I voted for. America does need affordable health care & good paying jobs. When George W. Bush entered the White House in 2001. My husband's good paying job was outsourced. Our health care insurance ended as well. We haven't had health care since 2001 & can not afford the high cost of health care. My husband & I are part of the 50 million Americans without health care. Vote Smart. Vote Democratic 2008.

Pay increases! If our minimum wage kept up with the cost of living & rate of inflation. The American worker would be making approximately $30.00 an hour. The minimum wage is totally useless now. Read the history of the minimum wage. You will agree. Abolish minimum wage & increase it to a living wage. Americans can't afford to keep a totally useless wage in effect. $5.80 an hour is a slap in the American workers faces. Especially with the price of today's oil.

Our country is being run into the ground? Funny, I thought our economy recently is the best it has ever been, we're still the greatest power on Earth, and no foreign military action/terrorism has been enacted on our country realistically since September 11. politicians are so dispicable, exploiting their wife death to gain pity and votes, both sides are like this, at least the democrats are trying to scare us all the time over something that has killed + - 3500 Americans. Where's the war on drugs, like 12 times more people died from drugs and car accidents in 2001 than from terrorism. Its a threat but there are many other important issues out there.

I'd like to see a Dem plan too. - Perhaps it really is out of ignorance when politicians say stem cell research when they really are referring to research that destroys human babies. Strange that greater emphasis isn't placed on the many forms of stem cell research that doesn't involve that destruction. What a waste of taxpayer dollars during a time when incredible breakthroughs are occuring and healing people using non-embrionic stem cell based treatments.
